I've set myself a 6-week challenge and am using my Instagram account to hold myself accountable.
To be honest, when it comes to fitness & nutrition, I've not been as strict & consistent as I should have. We all have periods of time where we feel overwhelmed, less motivated, and stressed, and the last couple months have been just that for me!
Today I start a calorie deficit for the next 6 weeks. I want to tighten up and feel better in my skin. I'm going to be tracking my progress with stories & pictures so you all know how I get on. It also keeps me accountable.

Am I human? Yes.
Am I busy Mum/Wife/Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant/Full-Time Employee etc etc? Yes.
Am I ever going back to the gym? Yes.
Will I be happier? Yes.
Will I be energetic? Yes.
Will the feelings of guilt, laziness & depression last forever? NO!
We all have our own hectic and busy livesโฆsome have a higher passion of fitness and health than others, so they โmake timeโ for the gymโฆbut that doesnโt mean youโre failing yourself!
Iโve had over a week off the gym. December is the busiest time of the year, and Iโve thrown in that I want to become a full-time Personal Trainer/Online Coachโฆon top of my current Full-Time employment!! *mind-blown*
I work extremely hard to keep my family safe and happy, my house chores afloat and my dog alive! So, I cut myself some slack when I donโt โhave the timeโ or โwant toโ go to the gym because I feel slightly less motivated or tired from other commitments.
Iโm healthy, Iโm breathing and Iโm aware of my body and itโs needs. Sometimes we all just need a little break, reset and recharge and then back to it!
Remember these feelings wonโt last forever and you will find the time again to get back into a routine. Just enjoy the present!
