Let's finish the day with a bit of fun - at the weekend, the team from Rapido decided to see just how many wagons their forthcoming Port of Par Bagnall tanks could handle on the MRC test track. Quite a few it seems...
On Sunday, Giles Flavel appeared on our stand with his latest miniature marvel - a radio-controlled rail crane. Being EM gauge (yes, this is a 4mm scale model!) we had to balance it on our OO track, but at least we could enjoy the full range of operation. Amazing.
Another Ally Pally surprise - Rapido's 01 breaks cover!
The EP sample was only received by the firm on Friday, but they kindly lent it to us for a test on the layout.
Don't forget you can still buy early bird tickets right now for Sunday - www.rmweb.co.uk/shows/ally-pally-2024/
