We are pleased to share the initial thoughts of Phil Nordyke; historian and author of the 82nd Airborne Division:

One of, if not the foremost expert on the 82nd Airborne Division, Phil Nordyke, received a free copy of the book as a gesture for all the help he provided in terms of pictures and historical data during the research process. Today he received his copy in the post and had this to say:

"Your book just arrived. I am surprised that the postal system in the U.K. and the U.S. delivered it so rapidly. I haven't had an opportunity to read the text yet, but did flip through the photos. I am totally blown away with the number of previously unpublished photos, the quality of them, and the way they are laid out in the book! I never expected anything approaching this level! You have done a superb job! I am sure the text will be just as good as the photos. The then and now photos are spectacular and the way you did the portraits in the 307 AEB section makes it look like you are looking at an old photo album. The amount of digging you've done to find the quarters of the division's units and how you did the book sections for each is outstanding. You have contributed something groundbreaking to the history of the division in the U.K. This is simply an amazing job! I will write a review as soon as I get through the text portion of the book."
