Generation Studios is a YouTube channel where you can see my work on short films and trailers that i direct, write and edit.

I am currently studying at college in my second year of A-Levels in Film Studies, English and Media in the UK. I started off making short films as a hobby at the age of 11 but has fast grown into what is now my passion of becoming a Film Director. I started off by making short films on my mobile phone with a few friends (which can been seen on my YouTube channel under "Generation Studios") i now h

ave over 40 short films and trailers that i have started from script to directing and editing myself. I enjoy the whole process which is why i never tire of it, the friends that act in the short films are not actors but have come along way from when we made our first short film. One of my school projects was to do a topic on bullying so i made a short film, the school have started to use this in a few lessons that touch upon bullying as well as the assembly. This i find rewarding, to have school kids learn about the effect of bullying to me is a big step. In the process of making the films, I had to learn about certain music that I applied to my films, musicians such as Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore stood out to me and i explored their music and at the same time became a massive fan. I taught myself how to play their music on the keyboard, and can now play some Hans Zimmer tracks from movies such as Interstellar, Sherlock Holmes, Batman, etc on the keyboard and piano. The film directors that have inspired me are Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kuberic, Ron Howard, Peter Jackson, David Yates and Robert Zemick, just to name a few. With the inspiration from these directors I have taught myself how to analyse a movie, how to structure it, how to preform a specific genre style by watching these A-List film directors because I like their style and their imagination falls beyond any worldly story. I am also a keen football player and enjoy the sport, i play every Fridays at the local school on a friendly team.
