So I want to drop some wedding videographer wisdom. Although it's tempting to smash the newly weds in the face with handfuls of confetti, one would be well advised to throw the confetti into the air to form beautiful plumes rather than handfuls straight into the kipper.

I DO! I DO! It's fab when the light hits right and wedding gods pass their blessings in our favour.
We get to make the lovely, creamy images with the vintage lenses and modifiers. I love this look soooooo much. Getting creative with the images, I love, I love, I love.
We set a conclusion to the mirth of the previous sections by settling into a display of the romance and beauty. Weddings ebb and flow as should a wedding film that's created to move with emotions of the day.
I do love creating these films. Wedding Videography than runs like a movie but without the grandeur of a cinematic assignment. Using simple camera techniques and a low-key approach, I can catch the feels of the day. Then, with a bit of editing magic, we can add layers to the story. Dialogue music, and story. Your story. Your way.
Working alongside the very talented wedding photography of @stevenrooneyphotography on this fab wedding day, we got out wishes from the wedding gods with some fab light conditions in the late afternoon.
Tyn Dwr Hall is a charming venue that offers a picturesque setting for weddings. It's one of my favourite local wedding venues. The staff are fab and it's so well run. Amazing.

Weddings are meant to be romantic, but let’s be honest—they can often need an injection of comedic charm. Maybe this is a bit bold for the wedding feature film, but having the facility to use comedy in the edit benefits the film no end. So, I'm a believer in doing whatever the edit needs to make it work.
We don't need to be bold or brash. Just a little editing goes a long way. Layers on layers of meaning are made in the best edits. 👌
Get the music right at the time, too, and the world opens up to a fab narrative story.

While those quick 59-second reels are great for a sneak peek, a longer film offers so much more engagement, but these longer pieces lose out on their reach into the Instagram universe.
