We are delighted to announce our debut show, After Life!

If you could spend eternity with just one precious memory, what would it be?

A group of strangers grapple with this impossible question as they find themselves in a bureaucratic waiting room between life and death. Encouraged by enigmatic officials, they must sift through their past lives to choose their forever.

Adapted from Hirokazu Kore-eda's award-winning film, After Life is a surreal and powerfully human look at the way we view our lives, and a haunting meditation on what it is to live – and to die.

This Sunday marks 21 years since Aaron started doing Nice n' Easy, starting on Hospital Radio, then on various stations across the net. He has broadcast over 1000 shows, racked up hours and hours of airtime and still makes the odd blooper.

We are sure on Sunday, he might just play some bloopers and try not to mispronounce Dido, like he did when he 1st started doing the show, 21 years ago!

For those of you who are having issues with the Alexa App - This was caused by the storm a couple of weeks back. To get Alexa to play the station again, say "Alexa, enable Shout Radio" then "Alexa Play Shout Radio"

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the ever growing team here at Shout Radio.

We're looking for a Station Manager, to help run the station on a daily basis. Please be aware that this post is voluntary.

Duties will include

- Show Uploads (Making sure pre-recorded shows are fully uploaded to the server for broadcast)
- Liaising with Presenters where there are issues with a show \ arranging show cover
- Dealing with listener feedback and complaints
- Scheduling
- Attending monthly Management Meetings
- Supervision of volunteers in your Team

Please note: This job is quite intensive and holds a lot of responsibility. The successful applicant will need to spend at least a couple of hours a day on station business.

Applicants may live local to our Office in Blackpool. (Preferred) but like many of our presenters, you can live elsewhere, as long as you are able to attend meetings on Messenger Video and perform tasks remotely. There is also the possibility to also present your own shows.

Today, our CEO: Aaron Bennett, gave a talk about Shout Radio, to the Sparks Network, which is a network of community groups and orginisations, run by Blackpool Coastal Housing. (A Social Landlord here in Blackpool)

Aaron had the group in hysterics, teling stories and telling the group about the vital work we do. Sadly, Aaron's laptop decided it didn't want to know, but a email later and his powerpoint presentation was ready to go!

Many thanks to Helen Jenkins, for allowing Aaron to come and talk about Shout Radio and well done to Aaron, for getting up in front of around 60 people!
