We’re delighted for Robbie Williams today! He has equalled The Beatles’ record of 15 UK No. 1 albums. And what a great photo that’s been shared too!

Here’s the story from Official UK Charts:

Huge congratulations are in order for Robbie Williams, who nets his 15th solo Number 1 album with Better Man.
The original soundtrack to his acclaimed Michael Gracey-directed biopic, Better Man outsells the rest of the Top 5 combined to stand proud at the summit of the Official Albums Chart; now drawing level with The Beatles’ 15 UK Number 1s.

Across his illustrious career, the Stoke pop icon boasts a further 14 solo chart-toppers: Life Thru A Lens (1997), I’ve Been Expecting You (1998), Sing When You’re Winning (2000), Swing When You’re Winning (2001), Escapology (2002), Greatest Hits (2004), Intensive Care (1), Rudebox (1), In And Out Of Consciousness: Greatest Hits 1990-2010 (2010), Take The Crown (2012), Swings Both Ways (2013), The Heavy Entertainment Show (2016), The Christmas Present (2019) and XXV (2022). In fact, all but one of his studio albums reached Number 1.

What’s more, Robbie now nets an incredible 20 Number 1 albums across his entire career. As a member of Take That, Robbie’s also topped the Official Albums Chart with Everything Changes (1993), Nobody Else (1995), Greatest Hits (1996), Progress (2010) and Odyssey (2018). Only The Beatles' Paul McCartney has more, with 23 to his name.

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Robbie Williams says:
“Thank you to everyone who has supported the album and the movie.
“What a huge honour it is to get my 15th UK Number 1 album. A special thank you to all my fans, whose support I never take for granted. I'm so proud of the film Better Man, so to have the soundtrack album reach Number 1 makes it even more special.”
