We chose Paul as our keynote speaker for Blackpoolunlimited.com’s event for growing businesses in the resort. He’s spoken in more than 40 countries to over 1 million people and we were delighted to welcome him to Blackpool. The event’s goal was to share leadership tips to support leaders in their growth journey, and to raise awareness of the fully funded support available from the Blackpool Growth Business Academy and the Blackpool Net Zero Business Academy.
It’s an event we’ve been planning for months. To have a keynote speaker of this calibre and see everything and everyone come together on the day really was a great feeling. Paul was sensational and a huge hit with business leaders leaving them full of exciting new ideas and inspiration.
We’re so lucky to have such brilliant clients who are willing to try something different - Angela Kershaw, Lesley Crowe and their team at Blackpool Unlimited were just amazing to work alongside in planning this event, and we thank them for trusting us wholeheartedly.
We’re delighted to share that we have been appointed by Wyre Council to raise awareness of the Wyre 'Moving More strategy' aimed at promoting increased physical activity among residents in the borough.
We’ll be working alongside the lovely Carol Southern, Leisure, Healthy Lifestyles & Communities Manager, and Bethan McDonough, Senior Communications Officer (pictured), and their respective teams on a number of marketing initiatives including branding, asset creation, social media support and raising awareness.
This fabulous five-year strategy aims to enhance physical health and promote emotional well-being and we’re all about living happier, healthier lives. Last weekend at the Grappenhall Beer Festival Happy Creative sponsored a beer called the Cheshire Cat (we liked the smile) from Weetwood - Cheshire Beers and Spirits .
It was all to help our wonderful friends at J&K Ross Ltd and their support of GYCA Grappenhall Community Centre, a vital hub supporting over 40 local groups and clubs.

This week our Chief Happy, Karen, hosted a Vistage UK Meeting at the stunning Everything Retreat. It was the perfect inspirational place for the leadership day. Here's Karen and her peers enjoying beautiful views of the Lancashire countryside.
Everything Retreat is a perfect venue for corporate meetings. A tranquil, light and airy space where, in the quiet, you can just hear the birds chirping. There's a top quality meeting room with panoramic views, a break out bar area and expansive outdoor space. There's even a swing for a spot of mindful fun, as Karen demonstrates.
Thanks go to Kelly for her fabulously attentive service before and during the day and for the tour of the gorgeous, luxury lodges. Also thanks to the chef for some absolutely delicious food that fuelled everyone for the day.

Samaritans volunteers are ready to listen around the clock, every single day of the year. The Blackpool branch are committed to opening 108 hours each week, this includes 3 or 4 overnights per week. They have two volunteers on 3hr shifts at any one time and our donation will help pay for a day so that these volunteers can answer around 80 calls or emails.

We recently visited 'The Platform' in Blackpool Town Centre where our Chief Happy, Karen, got involved in her usual style. Here she is rocking their fabulous branded merchandise. The Platform is helping young people in the town to find work, gain skills or find training opportunities to build a better future. UCLan’s low carbon project, The MaCaW Project, has been helping Lancashire SMEs understand and lower their carbon output through a range of initiatives. Streetlife's aim is to enable and empower young people aged 16 to 25, in Blackpool to make informed choices, about issues affecting their lives. They provide support from 'The Base', their Day Centre, and 'Night Shelter', which serves as emergency accommodation for those who need it most.
