John Sullivan, the man behind the impressive new plans for the upcoming multimedia cinema, conferencing and entertainment centre at Houndshill Shopping Centre, has shared insight into the vast project.

The innovator has discussed the process, as well as why Blackpool was the destination of choice to explore the future of cinema 😍🎬🍿

He said: “We’re making sure we’re not left behind in the changes that are coming but are responding and exploring the future in a way that makes cinema very relevant for its communities.

“And this will all be possible from Blackpool, with its long history as a global symbol of entertainment coupled with its open-minded embrace of progress.”

More plans are being revealed as the project’s completion draws to a close, so keep your 👀 peeled.

Happy Friday! The weekend is here at last, so what plans are you making for the weekend? Why not plan a family day out to Blackpool, where there’s fun and entertainment for the whole family, with famous attractions, shows, the golden miles of beaches, and of course, Coral Island, the largest free admission attraction in town!

We’re open from 9.30 am every day over the summer, and you can easily find us on the Promenade near the Tower, just look out for the giant grinning pirate skull on our facade!

The Tower tram stop is just across the road, and we’re right next to the car parks on Bonny Street, so plan your visit to the seaside today!
