Please let us know if you would like photos of them before or during the fundraising challenge. Hotel team put their weight behind charity challenge KIND-HEARTED housekeepers at a Blackpool hotel are hoping people will put their weight behind a big fundraising pushโ€™ for charity. The six-strong team from Hotel Sheraton can be seen dressed as famous maids while pushing their housekeeping trolleys in pairs along Blackpool Promenade on Thursday, June 24th. Head housekeeper Jeannette Lovatt will be joined by Alison Beavers, Annie Hatcher, Ellie Spencer, Sandie Beavers and Cliona Beavers for the 5km trolley dash, which starts and finishes at the hotel via the Tower and Bispham, from 11.30am. Itโ€™s all in aid of Molly Ollyโ€™s Wishes, a Warwickshire-based charity thatโ€™s close to the heart of hotel owner Liz Brown and her team. The charity was established in 2011 following the death of Rachel and Tim Ollerenshawโ€™s eight-year-old daughter Molly from a rare kidney cancer. It works to support children with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families and help with their emotional wellbeing as well as grant wishes and donate therapeutic toys and books to both children directly and to hospitals throughout the UK. Mascot of the charity is a therapeutic toy lion called Olly The Brave who has his own Hickman line and a detachable mane which helps to explain and normalise the effects of chemotherapy. These form part of an Olly The Brave pack that has now been handed out to more than 40 hospitals, along with a book from the charityโ€™s exclusive Olly The Brave series.
