We describe Indie Authors as our accidental business because it started when so many people asked Sinclair how he had produced and sold his books - 7 crime books with over 100,000 sales that we realised that we could help other writers to self publish. So we developed a training programme to teach others how to do it too. Kim's background in NLP and positive psychology was added to the mix to help with confidence and self belief. Heading home from Islay after a wonderful couple of days celebrating Tracey Hunter’s book launch.
It was so special for many reasons.
Tracey’s book is about child loss but it is a book full of hope and connection to spirit.
We share a similar philosophy on it is possible to have a good life and be happy even when you experience the deepest hurt.
We both tune in to the spiritual world and understand the bigger picture of soul growth.
But most of all Tracey is a wonderful human being who cares deeply for other people.
She was surrounded by friends and family who wanted to celebrate with her.

Would you want to read a book that was written by AI?
AI is everywhere and developing fast. I am not anti-technology; we are early adopters of tech in our book publishing business, but I am not comfortable with people promoting you can write a book using AI.
I read a lot - both fiction and mind, body and soul books. I love to connect with the wisdom that the author has shared. Words have energy and meaning, they take time to craft into a book that is shared with the world.
I love to work with people who are connecting with their own inner stories, their learned experiences, and the wisdom they have gained through higher consciousness. I doubt that my ideal transformational teacher clients would want to speed up the process by asking AI to do the writing for them.
I think I would feel the disconnect from the authentic truth of the author. Could AI writing have the same energetic frequency within the words?
I’m curious - what’s your thoughts? 🤷♀️
