I can’t believe I failed to make it to the top of Snowdon but my body just said no your a fat fu**er and you need to stop before you have a heart attack 😩🤣 the route is 9miles there and back so it says on website … I am so proud of my children Luke Chelsea and Logan and my amazing wife Kelly Smith they have smashed it and took it to the summit for me … I won’t let this setback get me to down I just feel I have let down ppl who happily donated , but as I say my family sorted the summit. So again thank you to everyone that donated it means so much and looking at my states below I wasn’t that far off …..

So we are less than 48hrs away from the trek up Snowdon to raise money for the amazing Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands our has come round so fast but we are doing it for the late great wonderful lady Karen Taylor my mother in law who we sadly lost on Boxing Day and to continue her overwhelming kindheartedness that she projected on to everyone she met. Marie Curie we’re just phenomenal and we know that Karen is looking down on us with pride and probably a tear in her eye saying that’s my family … WE HAVE RAISED SO FAR A FANTASTIC £1911 just £89 short of our £2k target .. so thank you to everyone that has kindly donated .. and if you would still like to donate please click the link below ⬇️

September 7th is coming fast am I worried yes I ain’t going to lie this is some challenge for me … ppl might read this and think WTF it’s only a walk but let me tell you this to me this might as well be Everest .. but what keeps me going is Karen and I can hear her voice spurring me on .

Today I have walked my furthest distance since I began 7.2miles to say I’m knackered is an understatement but I enjoyed it even the cheeky pint in the crown on my travels … but this is all going to be worth it as I aim to raise £2k for Marie Curie I’m half way there at the moment so if any of you would like to donate please click on the link below every little helps.

Nice Sunday morning stroll after a busy weekend Djin two 30th Birthdays … really need to push myself over the coming weeks I don’t think I have done too bad this morning.. knackered but worth it who would of thought there was such beauty and countryside a stones throw from the suburban streets 😂😂

So I have around 4 weeks to go until I take on one of the biggest challenges I have ever faced in my life since I broke my hip in 1991 I have never been able to get myself to a fitness level in fact I just piled on weight.
But for the first time I have a goal and I will NOT let down Karen she showed how to fight for something she is a true inspiration to ALL and for that even if I have to crawl up Snowden I will not fail …
Am I ready - No
Will I Struggle - Almost Definitely
Will I give up - Never

7th September I walk for Karen and I promise Karen I will not let you down I just hope you are looking down on me spurring me on ….

Over the past few months I have been questioning whether I should continue as a DJ … the consistent bartering you have to do when pricing jobs is tiring what do people expect and that comes from the many DJs out there that go in dirt cheap and devalue what we do to make a party/event an enjoyable experience.
I see plenty of DJs with a lot better gear than I have but when you see them DJ they remind you of the guy of Phoenix Nights or a fairground operator “Scream if you wanna go faster”

So do I carry on do I need the hassle 29 years I have been doing this and now I feel it maybe time to call it a day…

I love Dhillons in football season have so much respect for Dave Phipps he has been a constant support and great friend .

I can’t thank enough all those who have booked me and have such great reviews and feedback

So the next few months is decision time …

Note- All bookings will be honoured if I decide to call it a day..

Another walk as the training continues in readiness for the this has really motivated me as I know the end goal is well worth it as Marie Curie are an exceptional organisation.. for me I have really smashed it today aching now but I will go again tomorrow…
