Just a Quick reminder for Anyone posting on this Group...
The clue is in the name, British Motorcycles.
If it wasn't made here in the UK, then it's not allowed on this page.
So No BMW's, Zundapps, Harleys, Indians, Japanese bikes, Italian bikes - you get the idea.
Sadly - that also means No modern Royal Enfields or BSA's.
What are your thoughts on the latest Hinckley Triumphs on here?
Technically - they are made in Thailand and this is a page for Classic bikes, not New bikes
Please comment YES or NO.
We'll go with the majority vote.
Thanks.

1955 Norton 99 Dominator 600cc pre unit twin.

Standard, unmolested Dominator 99s are remarkably uncommon perhaps because they have morphed over the past 75 years into Tritons and other Featherbed framed Specials. Lots of Dominators were turned into Cafe Racers and Domiracer look-alikes by their owners just by changing the tank, seat, handlebars and exhausts. This particular model has had some subtle changes over the years including being fitted with a slightly later engine. This machine is being sold as a collector’s item, part of a stunning private collection of Vintage and Classic machines that have all been dry stored for several of years and will require recommissioning prior to use. Please note that historical classic vehicles are sold as an investment opportunity and are not supplied under the same terms and conditions as a modern day running motorcycle.

This machine is now available at £6495.00

The ex-works; Jack Stocker; 1951 ISDT Gold Medal-winning
1951 Royal Enfield 495cc Twin
Registration no. KAB 547
Frame no. T1870
Engine no. T2423 (also stamped W2515 to crankcase)
• The only known survivor of four built for the 1951 ISDT
• Pictured in numerous publications
• Purchased in 1997

This historic Royal Enfield was used by the British team at the 1951 International Six Days Trial (ISDT), held that year at Varese, Northern Italy. It was assigned to works rider Jack Stocker, whose team-mates were Hugh Viney (AJS), Jim Alves (Triumph), Bob Ray (Ariel) and Fred Rist (BSA). The British team completed the trial without losing any marks, winning the International Trophy for Great Britain. 'KAB 547' was one of four Royal Enfield 500 twins prepared by the factory for the '51 ISDT, three of which (including 'KAB 547') won the Manufacturers' Team Prize for the British firm. The fourth was ridden by the Swedish Silver Vase team's Borje Nystrom, who also won a gold medal. Capitalising on this success, Stocker and his two team-mates were featured in Royal Enfield's post-ISDT advertising, sitting proudly on their mounts. 'KAB 547' was also displayed on Royal Enfield's stand at the 1951 Motor Cycle Show.

1964 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE T120 C TT US Spec West Coast Model
A truly stunning example from the Zimmerman Brothers Collection and Fully restored by Bill Hoard.
Bill Hoard of Martin, Michigan, is the famous restorer of many Triumphs in the Zimmerman Brothers Collection. He is considered to be one of the best bike restorers in the world.
Hoard’s work is featured in many Triumph collections in the USA. Most collectors agree that his work has set the benchmark restoration standards for Triumphs for more than 25 years.
Bill has recently retired and this may be a rare chance to acquire one of his stunning restorations. You will not find a more factory correct restoration, the bike is as it rolled out of the factory in Meriden in 1964 to JoMo West Coast Spec
The C stood for Competition model - predominantly off road (designated by a CTT prefix) of the Trophy and Bonneville models was produced in very limited numbers from 1963 to 1968;
The 'West Coast' model was specifically made for and distributed exclusively by Johnson Motors of California (and were a different specification than the East Coast models that were distributed by TriCor in Baltimore) and were high performance versions the Bonneville / Trophy T120 honed from the TR7/B and T120/C scramblers.
Fitted with Western wide swept back handlebars, high level pipes, engine bash plate, lightweight alloy mudguards, no pillion footrests, large air cleaners and off road tyres
Triumph hoped this model would be the ride of choice for the serious competitor and they guessed right; they were winners straight out of the crate!

1955 Norton Dominator Model 7, A great opportunity to purchase a stunning looking Dominator in Superb condition.
Norton jumped aboard the vertical-twin bandwagon in 1948 when it introduced the Model 7. Designed by the legendary Bert Hopwood, the new 500cc engine went into the existing ES2 plunger-frame/tele-fork cycle parts, a marriage that necessitated a redesign of Norton's well-proven four-speed gearbox.
In November 1951 Norton's 500cc twin found a new home in the McCandless Brothers legendary 'Featherbed' duplex frame. Initially for export only, the newcomer - titled 'Dominator 88' - was the first production Norton roadster to feature the lightweight, race-proven chassis.
The Model 7 continued as a cheaper alternative to the '88', its first major revision arriving in 1953 in the form of a new swinging-arm frame. The model was dropped at the end of 1955 but the same basic cycle parts were used for a 600cc successor, the Model 77, which continued in production until the autumn of 1958.
This bike has come to us from a personal collector who has owned the bike for the last 15 years. The bike has matching numbers and a handful of old MOT's.
