This is from one of our wonderful customers and I thought I’d share his words. We met him 2/3 years ago when he came in with his lovely wife and he shared a few of his life stories with us.
Sadly, he lost his wife before he came back in to us with another job and he was heartbroken when he spoke about her.
Since then, we’ve phoned him a couple of times to see how he is, we’ve visited him at home and formed a friendship.
We’ll be keeping in touch regularly and checking in on him but here’s the letter he wrote us

Hi Phil,
I was looking for somewhere to leave a review, but I’m anti-facebook.
However, you made a lovely job of the dictionary and I will refer people to you, should I come across anyone interested.
There’s no point in doing more, because it wouldn’t be the same book.
Anyway, thank you for doing a sympathetic restoration. If looked after it’ll be fine.

When a rebind comes in covered in heavy duty tape, it’s such a satisfactory outcome when you restore it to its former glory
