#KHADI has now been extended until 18th December, commissioned by @britishtextilebiennial. An exhibition about cotton, protest and freedom, charting Gandhi's visit to Lancashire in 1931 and my father's story as a textile mill worker. Truly blessed to have made this work.

Every cobble has a story. Filming at the Cotton Famine Road, in Rochdale. Building this road offered mill workers jobs after the collapse of the cotton industry, causing the textile community to experience poverty. It was truly humbling to walk along the road and learn about the history for a new film for @britishtextilebiennial and @bharti.parmar.studio

We combined several elements to create this dance film, firstly taking the lead from our cast of deaf blind dancers and InterAction to explore the space, then add the exploration of the camera, it's subtle movement and the positioning and thirdly building connections between dance, light and music, our journey continues @stephsensearts @sensecharity @suzannegrubham @beccahwa @interaction_01
