BEAUX GRIS GRIS RELEASE “I TOLD MY BABY” MUSIC VIDEO FILMED AT THEIR HOME, FEATURING THEIR NEIGHBOR…FAMED ROCK BURLESQUE PERFORMER, KITTEN DEVILLE!

California-based roots rock band, Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, who’s core is the dynamic duo of Greta Valenti & Robin Davey, have a house & motown-style recording studio on one of the coolest streets in Riverside, California. Riverside California was once the richest city in America for being the largest exporter of Oranges in the United States. Today Riverside is home to a wonderful rich history of architecture, artists, and artisans. Legends Little Richard and Etta James resided in the community, Cheech Maron (of Cheech and Chong) has opened a multi-million-dollar world renown Latin Arts museum called The Cheech, and The Mission Inn attracts millions of visitors every year for its historical relevance and beauty.



The Beaux Gris Gris duo started restoring the home they call ‘Bungalow Paradise’ during the pandemic in the heart of Downtown Riverside and at the base of beautiful Mt. Rubidoux (a local mountain with a weird Cajun sounding name). The home is a 1908 English Farmhouse Arts & Crafts style home they have built into an artist retreat, urban orchard with over 20 fruit trees and garden, and a motown-style recording studio where they recorded the latest album, Hot Nostalgia Radio. But the house isn’t the only cool thing - it’s the magic of the neighbourhood.

“After being in the area for a short amount of time, we discovered our neighbourhood, and specifically our street was filled with so many amazing individuals.” said Greta. One of those people is Kitten DeVille, one of the originators of the modern burlesque movement. Greta continues, “The foundation of this song I wrote over 10 years ago, but I always imagined it from this angle of a dude singing it to the most beautiful woman in the world. Once I met Kitten, I knew I had to ask her to be in this video, and thankfully she said YES! I had such a crush working with her on set. She is just a lovely human, so talented and glamorous- she was perfect.”

The video features Beaux Gris Gris’ herself, front-woman Greta Valenti, in an Elvis meets Evil Knievel like Rock & Roll suit (created by Chain Driven Apparel) with a pencil-thin moustache crooning and rocking about while Robin Davey shreds on his guitar and Kitten works her magic. “2 minutes of pure eye and ear candy for your rock & roll souls! We hope you love it!”

Black Eyed Sons release new single, “Don’t Throw Me In The Corner,” the latest track from their debut album, ‘Cowboys in Pinstriped Suits’. The album is set to launch on January 31, 2025, through Off Yer Rocka Recordings.

The track features none other than Chip Z’Nuff (Enuff Z'Nuff) on bass. Reflecting on the single, guitarist Paul Guerin explains: “This song covers a range of situations from growing up in the avenues of Blyth to breakups and may just reference certain people in a cryptic fashion! When it came to the music, I’ve always wanted to write something where I modulate the chords a semitone both up and down without anyone noticing, haha! I think I pulled it off. At the end of the day, it’s a Rock 'n' Roll song.”


Accompanying the single is a music video. Commenting on the visual concept, Guy Griffin says: “This video is my surreal take on Paul Guerin’s lyric. Fast paced with lots of twists and turns! Musically, this is a nod to some of our many influences like Mott the Hoople and Bowie, but also with a punk rock edge.”

While Black Eyed Sons is a new name, its members are anything but newcomers to the rock scene. Known to fans from their two-decade tenure with The Quireboys and with Down n' Outz. Often compared to ‘Free’ and ‘Bad Company’, vocalist Kev Plant certainly has a ‘Paul Rodgers’ type of quality. This ‘power trio’ from North Wales fall somewhere between Blues and more earthy power Rock. Forming back in 2018 this is the bands third album and the 12 tracks are a mix of faster tunes and ballads.

Will Wilde Releases Single & Video 'Wild Man' – A Swaggering, Tongue-in-Cheek Blues Anthem

Wild Man is the new single from the new album ‘Blues Is Still Alive’ set for release on February 28, 2025, via Vizz Tone Records.

Wild Man is a raucous, dirty twelve-bar shuffle that channels the spirit of Chicago blues. The track is a fun, tongue-in-cheek celebration of self-assurance, evoking the boldness of blues legends like Muddy Waters and Elmore James.

"This one is for the hardcore blues fans," says Wilde. "It’s a bit of fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously." Dom Martin Releases Live Double Album "Buried Alive" – Available Now on All Platforms

Belfast’s multi-award-winning musician Dom Martin has officially released his live double album, Buried Alive, through Forty Below Records.

This double album features a blend of electric and acoustic performances recorded at various venues across Europe and the UK. It offers fans a comprehensive collection of songs that span all three of Dom’s original studio albums.

A UK Blues Hall of Fame inductee and highly celebrated artist, Dom has just concluded his Buried Alive UK and Irish tour. The album has been met with widespread acclaim from the press.

Music-News described it as, "I don’t expect an album released this late in the year to be one of my top ten picks of the year but this is a shoo-in. Absolutely brilliant and should be in any discerning collection." They awarded the album a perfect 5/5.

Meanwhile, Rock and Blues Muse praised the album, saying, "Together, these stunning, often goosebumps raising performances on the striking ‘Buried Alive’ should add Dom Martin to America’s blues map as one of the finest of a younger crop of players; one whose already impressive work is likely just an indication of what is in his future."

Dom Martin shared his excitement with fans, saying: " I’m so excited about my new album release today. We recorded it all through 2023/24 and I hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we all enjoyed recording it. A double live album is something I’ve always wanted to do so a big thank you to all involved for making it happen and to you who supported the shows. I love ya and couldn’t have done it without you all. There’s a third single from the album releasing on Friday too and it’s 12 Gauge, one of my personal favourites. Dom and his band are set to headline the Saturday night of the UK Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival in Blackpool on February 1st, 2025 and he will also headline the Blues in Britain acoustic stage on the Friday with his intimate solo show.
Fans in London can catch him at Dingwalls on January 29th and the band also plays Lincoln Drill on January 30th.

DELLA NOVA release self titled debut album on December 13th.

This album was written during lockdown and Alex Bowmer reflects influential passages of his life, like bad acid trips and working for a Witch. The title of the band ‘Della Nova’ comes from the secret order Alex worked for in 2019 ‘The Ordine Bella Nova’. So this album is innovative, deeply experimental and yes, one hell of a trip !
