So it's that time of year again when the annual pilgrimage to Sardinia take place and it seems like anyone who is any only seems to ask 1 question; you going Sun & Bass this year!? Now for the last couple of years my response has unfortunately been no and it's not really made me feel any kind of way, however for some reason this year I have pretty bad fomo. Established in 2011 Kompas Audio was started by my good friend Krystian aka Dj Lunatic and is all about showcasing some of the best underground drum & bass, visually as well as audibly via live stream sessions. This project was truly born out of our passion for Drum & Bass, Jungle, Vinyl and Live gigs - essentially all of what electronic music culture is about. So when our paths crossed we soon realised that we shared the same passion for music and art so he welcomed me aboard to the Kompass team. Its was a great pleasure to roll out a set for Mixblog, Anthony asked me to dig deep so I trawled through my collection and put together some of my favourite deep, soulful & atmospheric tunes from over the years, some of the gems I don’t always get the chance to play.
