8 ways your body is telling you that you are heading towards burnout✨

In the hustle culture that we are accustomed to living in, it’s so easy to overlook the warning signs that burnout is lurking. Here are some key signs and symptoms to watch out for:

- Increased anxiety and feeling ‘jumpy’
- Feeling irritable, wanting time alone, reduced empathy
- Finding it hard to concentrate or having ‘brain fog’
- Feeling emotionally exhausted: easily overwhelmed or overstimulated
- Achey and tense body: stiffness in the neck, shoulders area, headaches, tense jaw, back pain
- Sensory overload: bright lights, sounds, smells, temperature changes affect you
- Disturbed sleep: finding it hard to fall asleep and/or stay asleep
- Loss of enjoyment in activities, food social interactions

If you resonate with any of these symptoms it could be your body warning you that you are heading for burnout. Don’t ignore or brush it off as being ‘busy’ or ‘tired’, take charge of your wellbeing so that you don’t hit that burnout wall.

Simple swaps for a healthier you & home✨

Before Christmas I always like to have a deep clean and clear out so I’m not taking anything I don’t want or use into the new year. Start your now and 2025 off the best way for your and your health & wellbeing.

Making these swaps doesn’t need to be complicated or happen all at once, as I know it can seem daunting. If you slowly make changes each day/week it won’t feel like such a big transition.

Start with 1 small change such as daily movement and then go from there, adding in a new change every day/week - whatever you can manage.

You will notice a change in how you feel and your body will thank you for it in the long run✨

It is so easy to get caught up in the festive season and forget to make time for yourself. Make sure you allow time to pause and recharge so that you don’t burn out once festive season passes.

Allow time for:
- watching your favourite movie
- doing things that bring you joy
- slowing down and be present
- express gratitude
- spend time with those you love

& most importantly make time for yourself✨

This hot drink is packed with health benefits as it contains cinnamon, ginger and turmeric which all aid our health in their own right. Why you should be drinking Celery Juice 💚✨

This is a non-negotiable as part of my morning routine and here’s why:
- helps fights infections
- helps lower high cholesterol
- helps prevent UTI’s
- helps to reduce bloating
- helps with eczema and psoriasis
- helps prevent ulcers
- helps flush the liver
- feeds the gut good bacteria
- helps lower inflammation levels
- supports with weight loss

To get the most from drinking this, you should have it in the morning at least half an hour before consuming any meal or other drink (you can have water on rising, this should then be your next drink). Once you’ve had your celery juice, wait at minimum half an hour before having breakfast or a drink.

If you do this consistently for a few weeks, you will start to notice a change in your skin, your gut and your overall health.

Uncomplicated wellness tips✨

Are you overwhelmed with seeing peoples morning routines or wellness routines on Instagram and TikTok? Do you find yourself thinking how am I meant to fit all of that in on top of everything else I have to do in a day/week?

When wellness feels complicated you need to strip it back to basics. 95% of your well-being is about the fundamental basics.

- Nutrient-dense food
- 2 litres of water (daily)
- Good quality sleep
- Daylight exposure
- Exercise
- Time spent outside in nature
- Social connection
- Limit your screen time

Tuna and Rice Salad✨

This salad is SO good I cannot tell you that enough. So easy to make, great for meal prep, packed with protein, hormone balancing properties, antioxidants, vitamins and more. You definitely need to add this into your meal prep/lunch routine.

Ingredients:
- wild caught tuna
- organic chickpeas
- cucumber
- sweet peppers
- red onion
- red apple
- avocado
- sweet vine tomatoes
- gluten free basmati brown and wild rice

Dressing:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon Juice
- Black pepper

Recipe:
Chop all your veg and cook your rice, drain your chickpeas and salmon, throw it all in a bow and mix well together before drizzling a healthy amount of dressing on the salad. Enjoy!

Golden Scrambled Eggs with Avocado✨

This is a nutritious meal to have for breakfast or brunch, packed with healthy fats, protein, anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidants and vitamins. It’s also real quick and easy to make!

For one person
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- spinach
- cherry tomatoes
- Avocado
- garlic (or garlic granules)
- cayenne chilli pepper
- turmeric
- black pepper
- pink salt

Recipe:
- Crack and scramble the eggs
- Slice the cherry tomatoes and chop the spinach and mix well with the egg
- Mince 1 garlic clove and add into the bowl, mix well
- Add in 1 teaspoon of turmeric and season with black pepper, salt, cayenne chilli pepper, mix well until all ingredients are coated with the turmeric
- Add olive oil into your pan and pour egg mixture, cook until scrambled
- Slice your avocado and serve alongside the golden eggs - enjoy!

If you’ve been following me for a while - or a new follower, hi! - you’ll know that I start my day EVERY DAY with celery juice. The benefits of this juice, on an empty stomach, are unmatched.

Here are 12 reasons why you should add drinking celery juice into your morning routine:
- Helps fight infections
- Helps lower high cholesterol
- Helps prevent UTI’s
- Reduces bloating
- Helps eczema and psoriasis
- Helps prevent ulcers
- Helps flush the liver
