A funeral is a way of letting our loved ones grieve, the friends and family we leave behind are the ones who find it the hardest to move on!
Direct cremations don’t allow this. In certain countries in Europe funerals don’t exist, and the families are envious of our British tradition where we have a service, be it graveside, church, crematorium or even a social club, we get to say goodbye, mourn and accept the loss of the ones we love.
Please think about those we leave behind and how difficult direct cremations are for them without the chance for them to mourn your loss!

The gave an exceptionally emotional but beautiful farewell to one of their own today in .
David Hartley Funeral directors oversaw the proceedings and with the help of the local police , the whole town came together to pay their respects also.

At FV UK we try to stay professional at all times but I must admit , the passing of the Union Jack 🇬🇧 and the 21 gun salute really did hit me hard. Rest well Nathan!
