You don't actually want to go viral. Here's why...
Going viral may sound like the dream, but let’s break it down....
The people who see your viral content? They’re probably not your ideal audience. New followers are often just passers by, not your engaged community. And guess what.... viral moments often don’t equate to actual sales.
If you're running ads and using Lookalike Audiences from your followers, going viral can actually hurt your targeting. It dilutes the reach of your ideal customers, making it harder to convert.
Try and remember this when your reel/TikTok get's 200 views, imagine those 200 people standing in a horde (not zombie horde 🧟♀️) and actually... that's quite a lot of people right?
After 4 years of working with dog clients... a client of mine needed Eric for some content. IT IS HIS TIME TO SHINE! 😂
I'll be trying my best to keep Eric humble and grounded during this momentous milestone in his life. 🤷♀️
Hear me out! 👀
I'm not against AI, in fact, I think it's bloody wonderful - but if it instantly doesn't look like you've written it, how can your audience connect with it... connect with you?
So, here are a few chat GPT prompts to help make your copy sound a little less Chat GPT 👇
'Please don't use furry friend, use dog instead'
'Please use normal hyphen'
'Please use the British language (if you're British of course!)
See how I say please to Chat GPT, very demure, very mindful. 😂
To the R+ dog trainers, I see you trying your best to help dogs while keeping your business running... all while trying to stay drama free! 🫶
Dropping them!

Is this you? 👀
Let's talk about your offer - it's important to keep bringing it up. I’ve spoken with many a dog trainer who is hitting a brick wall with sales and simply isn't chatting about their offerings enough. Then when they don't get sales they say 'social media doesn't work for me'.
Mentioning it just once a week (if at all) won't work to get the results you're after.
You have to include it in your regular conversations.
If you're not, there's a good chance that a significant portion of your audience isn't even aware of what you're offering, which can make it difficult for them to make a decision, right?
Here are 3 different ways to keep your offering at the forefront of their minds:
1. Could you share the story behind your offer? What inspired you to create it, and how did you gather all the valuable insights packed inside?
2. Shout about what makes your offer different. Does your training approach differ in itself? Do you offer a distinctive and efficient method?
I'm not talking positive reinforcement vs balanced, FYI. I'm talking about your unique teaching styles. For example, I know a dog trainer who loves to show dog guardians how to train whilst fitting it into their lifestyle.
3 Addressing a common misconception in the dog training world and explaining how your offer provides a fresh perspective can be an effective way to stand out in the sea of dog trainers.
Keep the conversation going about what you have to offer!

Confession - selling makes me awkward! 🙈I know I'm not alone in this feeling of pure ick when it comes to selling your services. But I want you to remember something... maybe even write it down on a post-it note and stick it near your desk.Serve, not sell. 👌Do you believe in your product and think it can help them?If you're writing a selling post, let that lead the way. For example, you might be a dog trainer who runs recall courses. There are people out there who struggle with recall, so you need to let them know about what you offer. You are doing them a disservice by NOT telling them. It's always a wise idea to flip the narrative on your mindset (serve, not sell!) when the ick feeling creeps in.👋 Let me know in the comments if you also suffer from the selling ick!
