You’re not lazy. You’re not bad at marketing.
You’re just… doing everything alone. 🫠

If you’ve ever:
🐾 Had “write a blog” on your to-do list since 2021
🐾 Googled “SEO” and immediately opened 16 tabs
🐾 Panicked when someone mentioned Google Business
🐾 Downloaded yet another free content calendar you’ll never use…

This one’s for you. 💙

Inside Underdogs Unite, we make marketing make sense – without pressure, burnout or sleazy tactics.

Just support, templates, clarity… and a community that actually gives a sh*t.

If you’re a dog professional who believes in meeting dogs with compassion – this one’s for you. 💛

Use it. Share it. Start conversations with your clients and community.

Because when a dog has an outburst – they’re not being “naughty,” they’re struggling.

And our love, understanding, and support? That’s what helps them through. 🐾

I honestly don’t think content needs to be complicated.
It doesn’t need to be shiny, perfect or backed by a 10 step strategy.

It can be soft.
It can be simple.
And it can still work really well.

The way I see it? Content should feel doable.. even on your messiest, busiest, “I’d rather be doing literally anything else” kind of days.

This carousel is here to give you a starting point.
No pressure. No perfection. Just ideas that actually feel good to post.

Share this with another dog pro who needs the same reminder. 💬

Hooks that stop the scroll? Yes please.

I’m a bit of a marketing geek (no shame in my geeky game!), and one of my favourite little psychology tricks is the Von Restorff Effect – a fancy name for something super simple:

✨ If something stands out, people remember it.
Basically: be bold, be different, don’t blend in. ✨

That’s the magic behind these 10 hooks – they grab attention, spark curiosity, and make people want to read more.

If you want more where this came from – with support, community, ideas and the occasional kick up the bum....

Underdogs Unite is where the good stuff lives.

Sure, your dog technically has dewclaws… so kind of like thumbs?

But let’s not kid ourselves... they’re not cranking up the AC or cracking a window any time soon.🚗☀️

Don’t leave them in the car. Even for a minute. Even with the windows cracked.

Sick of winging it and wondering why nothing's working?

Let us help you!

Your website is your home base - it builds trust, tells people who you are, and makes it easy for them to say yes.

Your social media is your megaphone - it helps you connect, stay visible, and spark interest.

💡 Both matter.

But if you’re only focusing on socials and neglecting your website?

You’re working twice as hard for half the results.

That’s why in Unite, you get:
✨ Rikki - helping you nail your website, SEO, lead gen and email marketing

✨ Christi - helping you master organic socials, growing your reach + ads that actually convert

Together, we help you build a business that works without burning you out.

I’ve seen a lot of talk lately about how there aren’t enough clients for dog trainers…

So I wanted to share a true story that might help shift that worry.

👉 The last 3 months, a Unite member has been fully booked for 121s.
👉 She’s been busier than ever - without ads, hard pitches, or any flashy tactics.

So what did Niki from Pup Talk do to achieve this?

She focused on the 'boring' stuff (that works):

1️⃣ She sorted her 121 service page so it was clear, compelling, and easy to find.

2️⃣ She tweaked her home page so it guided people straight to her 121 offer.

3️⃣ She posted to Google Business every week, consistently - nothing fancy.

✅ Result? Consistently booked out weeks in advance for 90 days straight.

It’s not magic. It’s not luck. It’s getting the foundations right.

If you’d like help doing the same - this is exactly the kind of thing we do in Unite.

Comment ‘CLIENTS’ if you want me to send you details. Or DM me if you'd rather nobody else knows you're interested. 😉

So I’ve been asked… how’s WoofWire going?

Honestly? Exactly how I wanted it.
Low key. Faff free. Not overwhelming.
No pressure to engage. No expectations. Just useful stuff.

It’s simply clear updates on what’s going on in the world of social media (max three a week) – plus the occasional trend alert that’s actually relevant to our community.

A couple of non pet people have joined too and they’re absolutely welcome.

It’s also my first time hosting a community on WhatsApp, and honestly? It fits the faff free vibe perfectly.

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling now... but if you’d like to join the free WhatsApp community, you’re very welcome. Link below. 🙂

I asked myself recently: how human do I come across on social media? With Ai here there and everywhere, it's something I've been thinking about a lot.

And honestly… I didn’t have an answer. 🙃

I rarely give much away... not because I’m hiding anything, but simply because my own content often ends up at the bottom of the list. In fact that's a lie - if we're focusing on being human - it rarel makes my to do list.

But it got me thinking.
So here’s me. The real, human, slightly chaotic version... in the form of honest confessions from behind the scenes of life as a social media manager.

If you fancy it, drop one relatable truth from your work life in the comments.👇

No judgement!
