Over the last week, the Graymatter Video Team has been working hard to complete three visual spectaculars, creating these Projection Mapping Projects for our esteemed client, Illuminos in different locations throughout the UK.

To achieve this task, we made use of our state-of-the-art disguise GX2C and SOLO servers, in combination with a range of high-quality Panasonic projectors, including the powerful RZ31K and RZ21K models.

Additionally, our team designed and manufactured custom projector hides that have demonstrated remarkable sturdiness, even during the recent spell of wet weather!

Rikki is one of our in-house disguise and video control expert, with an in-depth knowledge of all things video and with an extensive background in all things tech.

Rikki worked within a global organisation delivering large scale video workflows and content across a wide spectrum of live event scenarios, with an extremely professional and task orientated attitude, his friendly and warm manner ensures he is a client favourite.

With a degree in Broadcasting his skills and background provide a wealth of knowledge.

How lucky we are to have him as part of our team!!

Working for Bam Bam Productions Graymatter was briefed with designing and providing a full production for a launch event for Publicis Sapient at the Shoreditch Town Hall. This event spanned over multiple levels and each part of the building should be used to create an engaging and fun experience for the client and their attendees.
The Graymatter team encountered numerous challenges throughout the project, including complicated logistical schedules that would have to be expertly managed to ensure the event ran on time in accordance with the client. The Graymatter team designed and built an efficient technical system across all disciplines that needed to meet the clients vision and integrate different control aspects across multiple levels.
Graymatter and it’s team of specialists devised a plan that would logistically and technically work. We deployed an extensive amount of lighting products throughout the building to engage the audience and create an atmosphere the client was delighted with. Graymatter used the latest technologies to provide video playback systems, online live interviews from across the world, through to projection, LED and screen management. We also provided our Broadcast PPU with 4K cameras to capture the event. Get in contact with the Graymatter Team today about your full production requirements.

It's a throwback to this time last year where the Graymatter team were providing a projection mapping solution on Rochester Castle for the Icon Theatre. We had a great time being apart of the team pulling off another successful event!

We used 10 Panasonic 21k projectors that were driven by disguise Solo's

The content was created by Novak and as always they did a brilliant job.

It was such a pleasure to provide the projection mapping for this event last year across five locations in Newcastle. Pinwheel and DATevents made the light festival great from start to finish, it’s always a pleasure working alongside them. And as usual the Graymatter team did a great job supporting this event!

Produced by Pinwheel & DAT Events, commissioned by the North of the Tyne Combined Authority.

Featuring ‘Hyem’, 's new projection artwork, made in collaboration with Ash Willerton, Erin McGrath, Hazel Dunn, Jimmy Turrell and Ed Carter.

Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Old Quadrangle at Newcastle University.

Hyem (Geordie, HOME) examines & celebrates the culture & identity of the North of Tyne via an array of visual iconography & sonic interpretations.

Runs from 18:30 to 22:00 each evening of 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th March.
