Fish and chips on a Friday evening at The Woolpack. It was absolutely delicious. What a lovely place this has been turned into. We definitely recommend for relaxed dining and a decent pint. On a Friday it’s £25 for two.

Discovery of the day for us Chip n Gails of Hornsea . The usual seafront establishments were packed out so we took a chance on a neighbourhood chippy. We’re so pleased we did. Excellent fish and chips not too pricey (family of five, £24) and great service. Infact we would go there first next time without hesitation they were that good. Tell the World!

The menu at ‘L’opaline Bistrot’ , newly opened on Highgate Beverley looks incredible. As owner and Master Chef winner Eddie Scott says on his website “it’s proper old-fashioned, regional French Bourgeois fare, with of course, some… Indian flare. Complemented by an all French wine list which showcases the great wine making regions of France”. 🇫🇷 (Menu below is their main Menu Du Bistrot, available Thursday- Sat. Check their website for other nights and specials. Now open on Highgate Beverley.
