Top tip for cleaning glass in your stove.
Following on from last years advice on using the cold ash with newspaper to decarbonise the stove glass. Today we had quite a bit of carbon on the glass so after the ash and newspaper we used a new Stanley knife blade and scrapped dry the glass with very good results.

You know you have a bloody good team when this can be achieved in a weekend we should be drying logs in the new drying room by end of next week. Due to increased demand we are now constructing drying room 2 , thankyou to all our customers if you didn’t buy our logs we wouldn’t need a second drying room. Our drying process is very circular, we dry all our wood and waste then sort the timber and chip the dry waste , this is in turn fed to our biomass boiler that then drys the timber taking it from upto 38 percent moisture down to sub 20% moisture to meet the ready to burn standard that every log leaving eco house achieves.
Hopefully the drying room will be operational soon and we will post some videos on it in operation.

When we got the call from Anne Forbes that santas helpers were going to be in action on 17th December starting at 4.30pm with Santa going round the town and throwing sweets for the kids on the way we were only to pleased to help and donate some sweets for this event , if any other business wants to chip in just contact Anne Forbes or drop some sweets into BTC offices or Berwick Visitors Centre it all helps
