On Small Business Saturday I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients who have trusted me to provide support for their businesses and organisations over the past 9 months, it has been a pleasure 🫶

You can support small businesses by shopping local, following on social media, engaging with social media posts, leaving reviews and referring them to others; all these things really make a difference 💛

Hands up if you have eaten the frog this week! 🐸

I got my first self-assessment tax return completed (with a little help from a friend, thank you) and I am SOOO GLAD to have it done and out of the way! It was definitely playing on my mind.

Small business people- take the wins, this was one of mine 🙌

Feeling much more focused this week and have been able to get a few pieces of work finished (yay!)

> Grant application completed for a local charity🤞🏻
> Website draft ready for review for a community organisation (NB I am not a web designer but can use website builders👷Super grateful to have been trusted with this job)
> Recommendations for improving a client’s social channels made and implemented 👍🏻

The rest of the week will be spent working on a digital comms plan for a client, and hopefully getting sign-off on the website.

It’s Fri-yay!

I’ve had a couple of pretty challenging days this week, chasing my tail and letting fear and self-doubt creep in (the rollercoaster that is small business life 🎢)

However I am choosing to refocus on the positives as the week ends and I’m grateful for:

💫 Stephen, who has been my rock
💫 A client who is feeling positive about the first steps we haven taken this week to revamp her social media presence
💫 A client who is making significant strides with her visibility on social media
💫 A new piece of work just agreed today to develop a marketing plan for an arts organisation

I’m so grateful to have been accepted on to the business support programme being led by Rosemary Morrison and look forward to the next 5 months working alongside all these fantastic women 💜

What a contrast in a week 😂

Last Friday I was heading to Palma Nova for my niece’s hen party (congrats Courtney) and this Friday I was recording and editing a pre-recorded training video for a client.

Despite feeling a little tired for most of the week it’s been great; new client leads, client meetings and lots of exciting work to get stuck into next week

🌼6 Month Milestone 🦊

What a 6 months it has been since I launched Daisy Fox Solutions... good days, bad days, doubts, celebrations and lots of learning!

Self-employment can sometimes feel lonely which is why it is so important to network and spend time with other people who can relate 💜

hosted a VIP Business Intensive Workshop at the weekend, bringing women together to share experiences and to provide guidance and space to develop the next steps for our individual businesses.

What did I get from it?
> met and connected with inspiring women
> space to think & plan next steps
> a reminder of ‘who I am’ & ‘why’ I am doing this

Lovely meet up with Nichola Lynagh Consulting this morning, catching up on life and chatting about social media for business.

Nichola was such a massive support to me when exploring the idea of starting up a business, she is a fabulous coach and a wonderfully warm person. If you are looking for a coach (personally, or for your business/ organisation) then she is your woman!

I’m back! Holiday spam incoming…

I spent a fantastic week cruising around the Mediterranean with Stephen. We had it all- pizza, pasta, ice cream, wine, cocktails, torrential rain ☔️, blazing sun ☀️, sunsets and we got to see lots of bucket list sights 👀

Now I’m home and looking forward to getting stuck in to some new client projects including impact reporting and digital media strategy development 💪🏻

🌼🦊Great session with the Funeral Partners marketing team this morning delivering Facebook training, specifically focusing on the use of Meta Business Suite. This was my first training session delivered online and thankfully the technology was on my side today 😀

We looked at content creation, scheduling, automations, ads and insights.

Work has been very desk based this week and don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful to be busy but I have to say I am really grateful for the things that have taken me away from the laptop:
