More than 15,000 people marched through Belfast city centre at the weekend to voice their opposition to racism in Northern Ireland
Organised by the United Against Racism group, the protestors, which included trade unionists and community/voluntary groups, made their way to the front of Belfast city hall where a rally was held,
A number of speakers at the protest condemned the recent racist attacks in the city and said that refugees were welcome.
Supporters of Disabled People Against Cuts (@disabledpeopleagainstcuts) held a rally on Thursday, July 18, outside the Houses of Parliament in London.
They have asked the Labour Party to support their equality demands after suffering 14 years of Tory cuts.
