Hello good people! It's been a busy year so far across the studios. We may not be posting on here as often, but we're always keen to help with your songs, recordings, mixes & masters.

Here's a few FAQ's that you might enjoy reading on our newly updated website:

These can include the style of music, the amount of songs, the amount of parts within the songs, your expectations for the recording, the requirement for additional musicians. We endeavour to provide the best possible productions for the most

Introducing - Darragh has been engineering & producing new artists here at Start together, at his own space and various other studios across NI. He brings lots of musicality & arrangement skills to his sessions and is also a great drummer. He works well with solo artists & bands, happy to help with every aspect of songs, production & mixing. Engineer / Producer feature: Michael Bell. As well as hosting sessions and hiring our spaces, we also work with a roster of independent producers who share our passion and standards for music and recording. Michael started assisting with us while still in school before he set off to study at LIPA in Liverpool whilst spending time working in many commercial studios in the North West of England. Since returning to Belfast Michael has developed close working relationships with a number of exciting artists including Taylor Lally, Von Loop and Wohn. He likes capturing musicians playing instruments, with unique approaches for special results. We’re happy to say you can work with Michael on our new artist single and EP sessions this year. Happy Christmas & end of year celebrations to you all! To mark completion of our 15th year of running the studios, we’ve decided to offer a limited series of specially priced sessions for new artists to get great recordings. Helping new musicians achieve the best possible recordings has always been right at our core. We’re making sure the engineers & producers are deservedly well paid for these sessions and offering vast discount on studio hire costs to make them affordable and accessible for up & coming artists. We will be rolling them out in early 2023. More details to follow in the next few weeks. You can contact us for more details via our email or contact form on the website. A massive thanks for sticking with us during our 15 year highlights posts. We’re back to our favourite part of music now: The future! We opened the studio to give artists, producers and engineers the ability to make recordings that truly represented them, with no compromises & without them needing to leave the country to do it. Quality, creative fulfilment and value have always been core to our activities. We don’t want cheap and fast, we want evolved, magical experiences for your music. We will continue to keep our rates well below every other comparable European studio, while delivering a truly world beating range of facilities, equipment and experience. We’re proud to be utterly unique and focused on helping your songs shine through. It’s been our most incredible year so far, welcoming back old friends and new collaborators from all across the world, which a proper dream when we first opened. Rather than having a mixing console applying the same sound for every input, we decided to have a huge choice of pre amps, eq & compression to mix & match for dedicated, perfect matching to the music. We’ve got 32 inputs & more processors by Chandler, Neve, Avalon, API, Focusrite, Universal Audio, Sytek, Urei, Ferragraph, Audio & Design, Empirical Labs & more. We quietly obsess over these details to give you the best options, filling the studio with choices that are instantly huge, and ready to roll.

Start Together years ‘20-‘21 - We seriously don’t know where we’d be without music. These particular years spent obsessing over & finessing fine music saved our souls. Some of the deadly music we were lucky to work on, including lots of new artists and expanding our sounds with some stunning orchestral work thanks to Conor Mitchell.
