Aura is seeking volunteers to test out our new Augmented Reality App, Voyage AR!

Voyage AR is an Immersive app prototype highlighting the heritage of the HMS Caroline, Docked in Belfast’s Harbor. The experience leads you on a walking trail from the salmon of knowledge to the HMS Caroline.

The prototype was created in partnership with HMS Caroline, Belfast City Council, Hub-In and the Maritime Belfast Trust.

Participants will need to own a smartphone and be able to download an app from the app store, as well as walk a small section of the Maritime Mile.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided as well as free car parking.

The Production Zone offers the two winning companies funding and the opportunity to go into production on a Virtual Production Shoot, one in London and one in NI. These 2 projects will act as demonstrators for the innovative use of VP in the creative content sector and we will look to identify follow-on developmental training capacity building opportunities.

This groundbreaking partnership is between StoryFutures Academy and Future Screens NI, and is supported by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and Epic Games (Unreal Engine).
