We are saddened and frustrated to hear of the NI Executives decision to extend the ban on puberty blockers.

We stand in solidarity with our trans siblings against this policy and call on decision makers to rethink the harm that this could cause to the LGBTQ+ community.

Trans and non-binary young people bring so much light and joy to this community and they deserve equal access to healthcare.

Today is International Youth Day! 💜

As a youth led organisation we are passionate about using our voices to impact change.

International youth day is marked to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrate the potential of youth as partners in today’s global society.

We hope that through our first book we can give a platform to talented young people and continue to advocate for LGBTQIA+ issues across the island. 🧚

As many of you know, we have had to postpone our launch event due to disruption caused by riots this past weekend.

We are feeling disheartened and outraged by the senseless acts of violence seen in Belfast and across the UK. As a q***r organisation we feel strongly that it’s vital to stand together against all forms of hatred. Belfast should be a safe place for everyone.

Faerie Press are formally endorsing United Against Racism Belfasts call for a rally on Saturday to show that Belfast welcomes diversity. Members of our team will be at the rally, if you’d like to join us just send us a message. 💜

Some of the members of Faerie Press were thrilled to attend the Belfast Pride Awards this Friday! 💖

For our first Belfast Pride as an official organisation, we had the absolute joy of being nominated in two award categories! 💐✨ Amazingly, we walked away with a win in the “Working in Partnership” category, for the work we’ve been doing with !!🏆

We wouldn’t be where we are with out the business and emotional support Cara-Friend have offered us since our very conception! So, thank you so much to the board of and for everyone who voted! Here’s to a wonderful Pride festival 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Hide and Seek contains beautiful work from young creatives from across the island of Ireland. With thoughtful explorations of the inner child, hope, identity and joy, we believe theres something special in this book for everyone to connect with. 💫

As the first LGBTQIA+ led children’s publishing organization on the island of Ireland, we are making history with this release. We have poured our hearts and souls into this project, working tirelessly on the cover to bring this vision to life. 🎨

"Hide & Seek" isn't just a book; it's a symbol of inclusivity, love, and representation. We believe every child deserves to see themselves in the stories they read, and we're honored to take this step towards a more inclusive literary world.

This book is aimed at Young Adults and for those adults who indulge in a light read. 📖
