With festivities fast approaching, we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for a fu***ng magical year.

It has been a joy to collaborate with the scene for another year and to be able to take the dais out into the real world. To everyone who we have had the honour to talk to and feature, to everyone who has taken the time to peep the zine, to everyone who has been a huge pillar of support - thank you endlessly. Creatives are the people who colour this world and we are forever blown away by the talent here on our island.

We can’t wait to see what next year has in store for us all.

So here’s to you.

We all start as strangers. But together we are so much stronger.

The Stranger Crows Hootenanny. Wow.

It has been a dream come true for us to organise an event and for it to have been so bloody cool freaks us out in the best way possible.

A huge, mammoth thank you to the amazing Strange New Places, The Daisy Chain, Heartshaped and Garrett Laurie for being so rad and sounding brilliant and for being such lovely folks.

Thank you so so much to the lovely Leigh () and Mel () as well as Sister Ghost for supplying their incredible artistry to the masses.

A big fat giant thank you to Michael at for being a huge sweetheart and taking a chance on us with this collaboration, as well as the Oh Yeah Centre for letting us stink up the place.

Big thanks to our wonderful family and friends for being so supportive! Mum and dad- your hugs and smooches are so yummy.

Thank you so MUCH to everyone who came down to the show. You have made our little hearts so happy and we're delighted to see so much love for local talent.

Delighted to announce that Garret Laurie will be opening the groovy processions at the upcoming STRANGER CROWS HOOTENANNY!

Join them alongside Strange New Places, Heartshaped and The Daisy Chain for a night celebrating the arts right here on our lovely wee island. How crimbusy.

That’s not all though! We will be hosting a mini art fair with work from very cool artists! Be sure to snap up some incredible bits from some incredibly talented folk to fill up your stocking.

INTRODUCING… TWILIGHT OF THE PUNKS

The punk impresario beamed exultant onstage as the congregation gathered before him chanted along, stamped their feet and threw their fists into the air in synchronicity with the ear-splitting march of the music. United, indeed, but, make no mistake, it most definitely wasn’t the summer of ’77. Kids? For the most part, I think not- not by a long shot.’

INTRODUCING… Myriad Things

The 70’s. A time for s**g carpets, long hair and guitar solos. Where the summer of love shone on rain or shine and music was paramount.

Flashforward to today and the spirit of free-lovin’ rock is being resurrected by Myriad Things, a band full of heart and passion for all things stringed that go ‘wahhhh’. Consisting of Jonnie Rice brandishing the guitar and vocals, Brendy Doran wielding bass and Jimmy McCrory pounding the drums, the trio are masters at concocting a colossal wall of sound directed straight for your earholes.
