We believe in energising your company purpose, culture, nurturing creativity and ultimately creating profit through creative video campaigns and storytelling. These factors are all interconnected and supported through video. And we're not alone - studies show that companies with a strong sense of purpose and positive work culture are more likely to be creative, innovative, and profitable.

According to a study by the University of Warwick, happy employees are 12% more productive than those who are not. Investing in your work culture can directly impact your bottom line. And what better way to showcase your work culture than through video? By highlighting your team's strengths, values, and mission, you can attract top talent, increase employee engagement, and improve overall morale.

At the same time, purpose-driven companies are more likely to innovate and create new products and services that meet real needs. Creating video content that reflects your company's purpose can inspire your audience and drive brand loyalty. And let's not forget about the power of creativity - video content allows you to tell your story in a unique, engaging and memorable way that sets you apart from the competition.

But it's not just about creating any video content. At Kaptcha, we specialise in purpose-driven, creative video content that drives results. Whether it's a brand film, explainer video, or social media content, our team of experienced creatives and video professionals has the expertise to bring your ideas to life.

Get in touch with us today to learn more about how we can help you leverage the power of video to achieve your business goals.

For this week's Kaptcha Spotlight, we wanted to explore the incredible industry of re-purposeing coffee grounds. In Australia, Reground's start-up is turning used coffee grounds into a valuable resource. The company collects coffee grounds from cafes and uses them to create compost and fertilisers, which are then sold to local farmers and gardeners.

This initiative reduces the amount of waste going to landfills and provides a sustainable alternative to synthetic fertilisers, which can harm the environment. Reground is helping to create a more sustainable future by giving used coffee grounds a second life.

Recently many companies have also started to re-purpose coffee grounds on an industrial scale in the UK! We think this is an intelligent way of reducing waste and utilising available resources!

Let's talk about creativity today!

As Dorothy Parker once said, "Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye." 🌟

What does this mean to you?

To us, it means that while being imaginative and free-spirited is essential, it's equally important to have the discipline to channel that creativity into something meaningful and purposeful.

So, don't be afraid to let your mind wander and explore new ideas. Embrace your wild side! But remember to keep a keen eye on the details, too. That's where the magic happens.

Let's celebrate our creative minds today and always! In the comments below, let us know how you stay disciplined while nurturing your wild creativity.

At the heart of every good business is the desire to do good. That's why we were thrilled to have worked with Andiamo, a brand committed to providing orthotics and prosthetics to children in need. We created a pro bono film for Andiamo, showcasing their incredible work and impact on children's and their families lives. It was an honour to help share their story and support their mission.

Andiamo is just one of the many organisations we've worked with to help promote business for good. And we're excited to announce that we're giving away £10,000 in pro bono services to another deserving organisation. We're still accepting applications until the end of April, so if you know of a company doing great work, please encourage them to apply. We believe in using our skills and expertise to help make the world a better place, and we can't wait to see the positive impact our pro bono services will have on the chosen organisation.

This week we wanted to spotlight the benefits of staff volunteering schemes...

Staff volunteering can offer numerous benefits for both employees and their employers. As highlighted in a recent article by Sage, younger workers are looking for more meaningful and rewarding work experiences. Providing opportunities for staff to volunteer meets this desire and can boost employee engagement and productivity.

According to Sage, 43% of under-35s already volunteer, with workplace volunteer schemes and initiatives playing a key role in influencing charitable activities. Additionally, 53% of under-35s want to volunteer more than they currently do, with this figure increasing to 60% among 18-24-year-olds.

Employers who offer paid time off for volunteering can attract and retain top talent, boost employee morale, and enhance their company’s reputation within the community. Providing opportunities for staff to volunteer can also improve teamwork and foster a sense of purpose and fulfilment in the workplace.

In addition to these benefits, staff volunteering schemes can positively impact employee mental health. Volunteering has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve self-esteem and provide a sense of accomplishment.

Clearly, staff volunteering schemes can offer numerous benefits for employees and employers. As younger workers seek more meaningful and fulfilling workplace experiences, employers who provide volunteer schemes may be better positioned to attract and retain top talent.

Did you know that employees who feel a strong sense of purpose at work are more likely to stay with their company and be highly engaged? According to a study by Deloitte, 73% of employees who say they work for a purpose-driven company are engaged, while only 23% of those who don't feel a sense of purpose are engaged. This is where work culture comes in.

A positive work culture fosters an environment where employees feel valued and supported, increasing job satisfaction and productivity. Video can be a powerful tool in driving a sense of purpose within the workplace. In fact, a study by Forbes found that 75% of employees say that watching a video at work helps them feel more connected to their colleagues and company culture.

Using video, companies can showcase their mission and values, highlight employee success stories, and provide training and development opportunities. This helps foster a great work culture and promotes a shared sense of purpose among employees. So, if you want to improve your company's work culture and drive a sense of purpose, consider incorporating video into your strategy.

Welcome to Kaptcha Spotlight, where we shine a light on outstanding stories, organisations and their efforts towards a better world. This week, we are thrilled to feature Surfers Against Sewage, an environmental charity working tirelessly to protect the UK's oceans, waves, beaches, and wildlife.

Surfers Against Sewage campaigns for cleaner seas by inspiring people to take action to reduce pollution. The charity organizes beach cleans and community events to raise awareness of the plastic pollution crisis affecting our oceans. Their work includes lobbying governments and businesses to implement solutions that will improve our environment.

At Kaptcha, we believe in the importance of supporting charities that make a positive impact. That's why we are offering our pro bono competition to charities and organisations helping the planet. We want to help strengthen their visual identity, brand and message.

We encourage you to get involved and support this fantastic charity in any way you can.

Together, we can make a difference and create a better future for our planet.

Brainstorming is a powerful tool that can spark creativity and lead to innovative solutions.

Research has shown that brainstorming in a group setting can generate a broader range of ideas than working alone, as individuals can build on each other's thoughts and ideas. Creativity often stems from inspiration, experiences, and diverse perspectives, which can be discussed through group brainstorming sessions. (Paulus & Nijstad, 2003)

According to a study published in the Journal of Creative Behaviour, individuals who engage in creative activities, such as brainstorming, are more likely to experience positive emotions and overall well-being. So, let's embrace the power of brainstorming and tap into our collective creativity. Who knows what great ideas we can come up with together? (Sweeney & Ingram, 2001)

What are people’s thoughts on recent developments in AI Technology?

AI technology is rapidly changing how we live and work, and its power is truly remarkable. One of the most impressive applications of AI technology is in language models like Chat GPT, which can understand natural language and generate human-like responses.

But the true power of AI technology goes beyond the simple conversation. For instance, there are stories of AI-powered chatbots helping lawyers pass law exams. This technology can analyse vast amounts of legal texts and offer personalised feedback, enabling aspiring lawyers to understand the material better and excel on their exams.

AI technology is also making strides in healthcare, from predicting the spread of diseases to diagnosing cancer. AI-powered tools can analyse large amounts of patient data to identify patterns and make more accurate diagnoses.

However, there are also potential risks associated with AI technology, such as perpetuating biases and discrimination. To mitigate these risks, developing and using AI technology ethically and responsibly is essential.

Overall, the power of AI technology is vast and has the potential to transform industries and improve people's lives. As we continue to develop and utilise this technology, we must remain mindful of its impact and work towards responsible and ethical implementation.
