The People’s DJ

With a Music Teacher for a Mum, a passion for both playing and producing music came naturally, with DJing the next logical step to take. First experiencing a setup of vinyl and CD decks in my mid-teens at a friends house, I immediately became hooked and [not being discouraged by the lack of initial skill], soon purchased a setup ready for practising at home.

The first gig came on New Year’s Eve in a local pub and soon progressed to a school prom, weddings and a residency doing Birthday parties at a private venue.

Since then, DJing has lived alongside full-time jobs programming music for Kiss FM and The Box Plus Music TV channels, where a wealth of musical knowledge and experience been collected. It has also presented opportunities to DJ on the same bill as Rudimental and Rickie & Melvin (Kiss Breakfast presenters) amongst others.
