Imperial Voice Radio is a station founded and based at Fairfield House in the city of Bath. Fairfield House was the former residence of Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie I, during the time of Benito Musollini’s invasion of Ethiopia. The Emperor lived at Fairfield House from 1936 - 1940, and members of his family continued to live there until 1943. In 1958 the Emperor gifted the house to the city of

Bath to be used for the aged citizens of the city, and it has now been home to the Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association for the past 27 years. Imperial Voice Radio was founded at Fairfield House in 2019, and takes its name from the Emperor’s title of ‘His Imperial Majesty’. The station is a mixture of music, talk radio, documentary, with presenters drawn from supporters of the Emperor’s legacy, across many ethnic, faith and interest communities.
