So this is a callout to the good people of Barnstaple. I collaborate with a great company called SOL - Sharing One Language who have worked hard for decades to help people improve their English skills. They teach courses in Central and Eastern Europe, where they literally fly the Devon flag, and they also bring groups of teachers and students to Barnstaple, teaching them all about the area, and running excellent courses to help people elevate their English. One continual challenge is finding enough host families to let these teachers and students stay in the area for the week of their course in a way that makes it affordable and sustainable. SOL offers a daily rate for hosts, so I wonder if any of you might be interested in considering it this summer and/or beyond? The people that come here are so respectful and lovely, with the pure intention of learning our language and culture. Please DM me if you want to know more 🙏🏻
