*** 2025 Fortescue House Club Pool Competition Calendar ***

As 2024 draws to a close, we already have our sights on the pool calendar for 2025 at The Fortescue House Club.

More details of each competition will be posted nearer the time, but mark the dates in your diary for the competitions you want to enter.

We will also be live streaming most of the competitions.

Anyone entering these competitions will have to be members of the club, but joining is easy and only costs £5 for the year. So if you're not already a member, get signed up now.

The club has 3 Supreme pool tables, always kept in great condition, with no charge for the light, and are some of the best tables in the local area to play on. If the tables aren't booked for a match, anyone is free to play, if the club is busy all the available tables will be winner stays on, but if no one is using the table, you are free to play for as long the club is open. Tables ARE NOT allowed to be booked for practice.

What a day yesterday was, we had a bit of everything, from the not so great, to great pool.

Well done to all the winners, commiserations to the losers, but well done to all for getting involved and giving it a go. On the whole, yesterday, we think, was a great success for our first Cash Challenge Days. There will be more in the future, and we have already had players saying they can't wait until the next one.

A huge thank you goes to Rose & Lee Spicer for looking after us and running the bar all day & night at The Fortescue House Club. Also to Darryl Passmore for joining me on comms for the whole day. Cheers mate, always there for the stream, which hasn't gone unnoticed.

We have a whole day of cash matches lined up with pots ranging from £50 to £300.

Fortescue House Club

Challenge your friend, practice partner, rival to a money match and see who wins the money.

There are several time slots, pot size and races to choose from (see below), so you can make this as friendly or serious as you want.

1pm - £50 - £75 pot - 2 tables available - Race to 7
3pm - £75 - £125 pot - 2 tables available - Race to 9
5pm - £125 - £175 pot - 3 tables available - Race to 11
7pm - £200 pot - 3 tables available - Race negotiable depending on total pot size and players agreement.

1 match from each time slot will be live streamed.

Players can choose which ruleset they want to play, either Blackball or International.

Send a message detailing who is playing, ruleset and pot size/time slot wanted.

A 50% deposit is required by both players to secure your match, and must be received by 14th September 2024. If for whatever reason you cannot make the day, the deposit will be forfeited to your opponent. If the deposits are not received by both players by 14th September, the time slot and pot size will be offered to a reserve list.
