Taking a huge break from CGMcB Media Productions.

I’m not ashamed to say it didn’t go as planned, but that was my biggest concern from the start so I’m a true believer in admitting that you’ve failed.

I will continue working hard, but the plans for this part of the business will remain on hold until my health is better.

I appreciate all those who have supported us both thus far. We will still be taking commissions but there will not be any marketing done until, well, maybe never.

It’s been a whirlwind, something I’ve worked hard for and a select few decided to attack the company. This was struck by sectarian, racism and prejudice.

A woman can run a company you know, and if you don’t know, I hope you’re treating the women in your life with respect.

As a female artist and computing expert, the world is my oyster… but my home is Ireland.

I will never be able to make it in a country that doesn’t remember how beautiful this country truly is.

There are no borders in our business and there are certainly no laws I don’t know.

If you’re watching the mainstream news, I’m sure you know what’s happening out there… but for some, it’s happening in their own time and space of work too!!

I will be back, stronger and more confident. I promise.

Super proud of our team

We have 14 in the creative team now, all part of the Dream to Stream foundation.

We work tirelessly to support our community.

We’ve been conducting community projects for years now, but this time we’re doing something a little different, it’s mainly online content.

Colly and I are fortunate enough in the sense we have a home, a family and a circle of people who support our work. We now want to give back and support our community, especially the young people to help them through these challenges of life on the internet.

We both know all too well what it’s like to put in the hard work, both on and off the screen.

Dream to Stream is a separate project from our own work. Carly is the creative director and project manager, our marketing manager and public relations officer.

All self employed professionals can join the project. We take 10% commission from deals arranged by CGMcB Media. The remaining commission is paid directly to our team.

We also offer discounted services on media and entertainment packages we can provide.

For those over 20K following, a one off fee of £200 is required to help with the cost of runnng and hosting DTS.

We currently have 14 people on our roster from a variety of platforms. Our reach has just exceeded 250K.

Working with sponsors, charity fundraising and supporting our community is what we’re all about.

Some of our work we do with our youth of the family. We are working on projects with more teenagers soon, for workshops but this all takes funding.. so all in good time.

We are fundraising currently for the Dream to Stream Foundation which supports projects like this.

I spend the majority of my working day, learning the hard ethics of media so that I can make it easier to understand for our communities.

This takes a lot of energy so where I do try my hardest to make a living for myself too, my ethos has always been this isn’t about money. It’s about building connections.

I’m happy and safe. This wasn’t always the case. I want to spend my life helping others, and paying my taxes while I’m at it, so I’ll need some money obviously. 🙄

I run the DTS Foundation fund separate to my business, and disclose all the expenses.

We have been working with an empty pot as everything donated has been returned to the community.

We ask for your support at this time, so we can focus more on our fundraising efforts and workshops for the community rather than pushing for commercial work, although we are open to collaborations so please feel free to reach out.

In the short time our business has been running, we’ve ran faster to keep up and manage a variety of projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

A lot can’t be discussed yet so you’ll really need to take our word for it, but we promise we are only doing this for the benefit of everyone. No one ever made riches stealing from the poor, but you make a lot of connections helping rather than competing,

Nathan will be attending the opening night along with many others from the creative community of Belfast and beyond. We ask if you can, please come and support Nathan in his first solo exhibition.

On the opening night there will be refreshments and plenty of time to chat, come have a look around, spend some time with the lovely creatives of our wee country.

I’m incredibly proud to share that Nathan and I will be partnering up for media collaboration in 2025 as he will be co director for upcoming films by CGMcB Media.

It all started with a “well bai, is that a mourne accent I hear” and then an instant friendship between us formed 5 years ago.

Like many times before, Magee is messy when it comes to admin, so I’m here to help out with that, but we work incredibly well together, stemming back to planning a group exhibit and coaching him while he was on a film set hahaha. He’s the artist, maths and technology isn’t his forte but he makes it work, as do I. Class.

Now we’re being called professionals in our field 👏🏻🎬

I am raising funds to help local creatives and brands in enhancing their social presence for both media and marketing, and funding workshops ran by CGMcB Media for groups around Ireland.

Carly Guidotti Photography is our main tutor, the professional photographer, business and tech woman and self taught marketing genius.

Colly McBrien is our PR coach, the one who is good infront of the camera as well as behind it. He's our guy for the performing arts and musical aspect of our media, also the best at scouting for new talent.

We have so much planned as a business, and as individual artists. This all takes time to get started and where we have applied for grants and funding, this too takes time.

To keep the dream going, we ask for a small contribution to help us support others in their dreams as well as working on our projects that are adding to the Irish media scene.

Many of the funding so far has came from our own hard work and our families hard earned money. We are forever grateful for this. We promise it won't always be like this. We have so much planned, but like with most projects, the cogs only work with the finances.

We appreciate your time. We never ask for your money, your time is plenty!

One day our efforts will be rewarded but for now, lets just take it day by day!

Next month I’m starting my Masters in Film Practice, something I’ve been fascinated with since I was very young. My aim is to study some more for the next few years and then maybe work on teaching, but I don’t like to think too far ahead right now.

Ive always had an interest in film, the contextual aspect, the creative process, the art style and so much more. I’ll be adding to the list throughout my time and reviewing each one. My list is actually pretty bulked out already on so maybe this could be the start of a new blog, but for now, it’s just little old me blabbing about films I think are class
