We have recently designed and produced custom branded table covers and other promotional material for six creative businesses from within the Causeway Coast & Glens and Mid & East Antrim Borough Council areas in partnership with the Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust.

Our custom table covers are printed full colour on 220gsm display polyester, washable at 30°C and can be ironed at low temperatures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Introducing Dee the Little Lifeboat, a delightful children’s story of rescue and safety at the coast. Written by local doctor Dr Martin O’Kane and Illustrated by Portrush’s Alice Rohdich.

Impact were approached in June to design and produce this prestigious publication to help raise funds and awareness for the RNLI Portrush and the ‘Float to Live’ campaign.

Created by a local author and illustrator it is only fitting that 'Dee the Little Lifeboat' was produced on the North Coast too by Impact Printing in Ballycastle. Our Graphic designer, Nigel, was also very privileged to work on this project, set in his hometown of Portrush.

An enchanting book, set in a beautiful location for a worthy cause. ‘Dee the Little Lifeboat’ is now available to purchase at www.deethelittlelifeboat.com and at selected local outlets.

Portrush Heritage Group Discover Portrush was established in 2014 to promote the heritage and character of Portrush and were the driving force behind the Discover Portrush Heritage Trail that is a fantastic guide to the stories and history of Portrush.

The group also publish a newsletter which features articles on the places and faces and history of the town, along with news of upcoming events and projects. The newsletter is printed in full colour on a high quality silk paper stock and is designed to be as engaging and easy to read as the content. The group have some exciting exhibitions and launches in the coming months, so watch this space!

Our friends Damien and Samantha at Pure Hair have taken the lockdown as an opportunity to complete a redesign of their brand, max out the spec of their cards and price lists and overhaul their website. And what a job they have done! Their new brand and marketing materials are as premium and luxurious as the amazing premises that they opened in 2019.

Printed in one spot Pantone colour, on 450gsm uncoated card the simple elegance of their cards is brought to the next level with the black foiling. One of our favourite treats on the North Coast is a trip to the Fullerton Arms for their famous mussels and fries – a seat beside the cosy fire is optional!

These vouchers look great in monochrome, printed on 350gsm matt card. The matt lamination and spot UV varnish on the logo front and back elevates the design and turns a treat into a special event – a bit like a trip to Fullerton…

If you have been down Portrush Main Street this week you may have noticed the Discover Portrush Exhibition in the window of The White House Portrush. The Discover Portrush event aims to help re-connect the community through a programme of heritage and culture.

We were asked to design and produce a range of promotional material for the exhibition including standard roller banners, 2 metre wide roller banners and A1 posters.

The exhibition contains commissioned artworks by Philip Armstrong, Lois Brady and the John Moore Collection as well as our own custom branding for 'YEP!' Young Explorers Portrush.

To mark International Women’s Day, we produced roller banners that highlights the issue of period poverty in Northern Ireland schools. In December 2020, the education minister received executive approval to provide free period products to all schools in NI.

The scheme is expected to be in place for September 2021. While this is a very positive step, there is still a great deal of work to be done to reduce the stigma around periods because there is concern that some girls miss days at school because they cannot afford period products.

The role of these banners is to raise awareness of the issue and to help start conversations around period poverty and period education and ultimately to break the taboo that sadly still exists in 2021.

During lockdown, the congregation of Ballywillan Presbyterian Church came up with the idea of The Great BLINC Bake Off to have some fun, bake some wonderful food and raise some much-needed funds for the amazing work of Challenge Ministries Swaziland.

The challenge for Impact was to design a cook book that made a hero out of every cake, pie and cookie that was baked. We used a muted colour palette and simplified layout to ensure the recipes were easy to follow and the pictures did justice to all the bakers.

The covers were laminated to protect against spills and the books were wirobound so they could lay flat for easy reference. Luckily for us, we got to sample some of the produce as well!

Our friends at Carey Cleaning Machines provide a massive selection of cleaning machines for sale and hire as well providing excellent service and maintenance support. They put an emphasis on high quality promotional items to say thank you to their loyal customers. Our key task here was to ensure that the branding across all the items was consistent, effective and of the highest quality.

We supplied gold foil branded A4 diaries, 2 colour branded pens with matching clips, Americano travel mugs printed with a 2 colour wraparound and matching lids and navy branded rucksacks.

We worked with Causeway Coast & Glens PCSP on their Winter 20/21 Road Safety Campaign to develop a range of adverts for outdoor and bus sides as well as social media.

Sadly, we are all familiar with the issues that were highlighted - drink and drug driving, speeding and using mobile phones while driving. We designed a range of artworks to develop a campaign that reinforced the key safety messages.

We hope that they were effective in raising awareness of the issue and ultimately contributed to safer roads this winter.
