My hair is my biggest insecurity 😭😭

I think I went to collect talent for talking when God was giving edges out!

My hair has been this way since I was a baby and honestly I look at my brothers sometimes and think, “they don’t need hair, why can’t their hair be like that” 😂😭 (sorry guys, gotta have hair so you guys were my only nominations).

In all seriousness, I have put myself down because of my hair. They say the hair is the crowning of a lady but most times that’s not the case for me.

Enough of the sob story... I’ve decided to put myself out there and break every insecurities holding me back hence why I’m starting with the hair.

I hope you guys are inspired to face your insecurities no matter how “big/intangible” they are. Don’t forget they are yours, so make beauty from ashes 🥰😘

Where do I start from ?

We were just turning 17 when we met through a mutual friend, and you told your him “I’m going to marry that girl”.

After trying and failing terribly to pimp you to many of my friends (I don’t know why oo 😂😭), you kept your word.

Our relationship is so different from the norm and everyone who knows us will attest to this but you chose to honour me this way in front of our family and friends.

This world is a scary one but I’m glad I found you to weather the storm, bask in love and I cannot wait for what the future holds for us.

I know mummy would be so proud of us (our biggest cheerleader lol). Let’s keep making her proud ❤️.

“Nobody owes you anything, when you realise that, you would be appreciative and not feel entitled” - bae (the wisest of them all).

So many of us feel so entitled in our relationships whereas nobody (family, bae, friends etc) owes you a damn thing.

I have seen people rubbish what others have done for them just because they couldn’t come through that instance or they chose themselves that moment.
This stems from the entitlement trait that they have.

It is a selfish and disgusting trait that I am working to rid myself off and you should too.

Ps. Whatever I do, I do it from the kindness of my heart. I don’t have to and I’m not obligated to.

When it’s done, don’t make me regret it by rubbishing or disrespecting what I’ve been able to do when I can’t dance to your tune.

The blue contacts - For those of you who know, I am as blind as a bat (believing Jesus to fix it soon). 💙💙

I am currently at my parents and my only way of seeing is by wearing these💙💙, as I left my clear contacts at my place. When it comes to glasses, I sat on a pair and broke them ( the 🍑 is not even big) and lost the other pair 👀😬
