🌟 Last night, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Awards 2024—a night dedicated to celebrating organisations that truly put people first! It was inspiring to be among so many like-minded individuals and companies that prioritise employee wellbeing, growth, and culture.
Our very own Hannah Bowles, Director of Culture & Kindness at KVA, took the stage alongside the fantastic to present the award for Best Culture. This category recognises organisations that have created supportive, inclusive, and empowering workplaces where employees can thrive—a mission close to our hearts at KVA.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners! The energy in the room was infectious, and it was a powerful reminder of the impact that a positive culture can have on teams and organisations. 🌍💙

It’s World Mental Health Day! 🌍 An initiative close to our hearts every day. Today, some of our team took part in “Tea & Talk,” taking 30 minutes to connect and chat with colleagues. The topic? Everything from what’s for dinner to our favourite TV shows! ☕
Work can greatly impact mental health - sometimes positively, but it can also contribute to stress. With 15% of UK workers estimated to have a mental health condition, it’s crucial to keep these conversations going 💚

FACT: The world needs more leaders living in their feminine energy and businesses need more nurturing and protective female leadership 💖

How different would many corporate environments be with kind, gentle yet fiercely ambitious women building a safe culture for people to thrive. After all, we know this is what drives true innovation.

We are conditioned to believe that Barbie doesn’t belong in a boardroom, that we need to dress in power suits to be taken seriously and that we need to dull ourselves down, make ourselves smaller even to be accepted as serious in business.

For years I was fully in my masculine energy, believing that’s what it took to build a business from the ground up. Never asking for help, never stopping for a breather and never looking around me to enjoy the journey. I just lived for the future, for what I could achieve next. I was almost embarrassed that I loved pink, glitter and mini skirts because it didn’t fit with the ‘image’ of a 40 year old CEO.

Well today I fully embrace my Swarovski cryatal laptop case, my pink fluffy jumper and my blonde hair and I make no apologies. It doesn’t make me any less of a business leader, it makes me an authentic human, able to express myself in a healthy way.

So here’s to the rebels, the misfits, the round pegs in square holes… (love that ad!)

If you do one thing today, show up at work as your authentic self - you deserve it 🎉

🚩The importance of always being kind 🚩

This week and are representing Team KVA at the Conference at ! ✨
We are having some fantastic conversations, and it’s clear that there is a general consenus on the need for AI and innovation in healthcare now and in the future, and the role that the independent agency plays in this - which is right up our street! 🩷

Now to get to the point, as a women owned business in a male dominated industry, we are made of stern stuff - HOWEVER yesterday we experienced some rude and stand offish behaviour from a male delegate during a meeting to present our services, (let’s just check ourselves) in Paris - at the diversity and inclusion conference, ironic huh? 🤔

There is never a need to be unkind in business, sometimes objectives don’t align and that’s ok but there is never any need to be rude.

So this message is purely one to say: ✨be kind, always ✨
You never know what an individual is going through, and to be kind costs nothing, but means the world.
