Happy Pancake Day! 🥞🥞🥞
As a child, pancake day was a big event in our lives. My lovely Nannie - Audrey - would have three frying pans on the go - a big one, a medium one and a small one making pancakes for my siblings and I. We *loved* it! Toppings of choice back in the day were golden syrup or orange and sugar. YUM!
This photo was probably from 15 years ago - my lovely Nannie is no longer with us but I treasure these pancake memories so much!

TRAVEL UPDATE: Stoke Road in Aylesbury open sooner than expected.

We are pleased to advise that the Stoke Road, Aylesbury, closure has now been lifted. These works were initially expected to take several more days. However, teams have been working tirelessly to restore power to the residents affected and this has now been achieved.

We appreciate the significant impact these works have had on users of the Aylesbury road network. We responded quickly and have worked closely with UKPN and other contractors to minimise as far as possible the disruption caused by this emergency.

LOCAL NEWS: Winslow shop raided for second time in a fortnight, as thieves use stolen machinery to rip out cash machine.

The Winslow Coop has been raided for the second time in 2 weeks, with one local councillor saying if broken bollards had been replaced after a previous incident, last night's raid may not have happened.

TRAVEL UPDATE: It's a busy one in Aylesbury this morning. 3 way lights on Stoke Road near Chiltern Street causing long tailbacks. The lights are for UKPN work as they to restore power for homes in the area.

Hopefully bosses and schools will be understanding as not a lot is moving anywhere in town.

LOCAL NEWS: HS2 tells Bucks Radio they plan to reduce the number of HGVs using Dobbins Lane, Wendover. It's after reviewing their construction plans, although they say similar sized vehicles already use the narrow street. Locals have expressed their concern about the original plan, saying "safety is at risk".
