Video on LinkedIn isn’t exactly new, but they’re definitely making a big push with their brand-new vertical video feed that’s been in testing for a while!
Video views and engagement are going through the roof for some users. This could be a gamechanger for how we share knowledge and insights there.

Finding social media full of conflicting advice about social media? Yea, it's obviously not just you!
Most of these "hacks" are unsubstantiated and, quite frankly, a dupe to get themselves more engagement, views, followers and/or sales. Not to help you with your actual marketing goals.
TRY advice from trusted sources (and I do mean TRY, because what works for one may not necessarily work for your business!) and stay away from the gimmicky tricks.

Instagram/Facebook Stories are definitely for the "here and now" moments, given its nature, and while shares, graphics and other edited visuals have their place, this is a fantastic chance to show that real-life human side and connect on a meaningful level.
It's what people respond to the most (because never forget, people connect with people, after all!)

Imagine pouring your heart into content you know your ideal audience would like, only to see crickets because most of your followers aren't engaging with it. But hey, at least your follower count is up, right?
Wrong.
These tactics are a huge waste of time and energy. Building a following of unengaged users just hurts your reach and engagement further. You're certainly not beating or hacking any algorithm.
These "hacks" are full of BS and usually only stroke someone's vanity.
We all want growth but REAL growth with the right audience that actually brings results. Quality over quantity any day! 🙌
I don't know who needs to hear this, but...there is no secret formula in social media marketing! 😬
We're all on our own unique journey, which is why your strategy needs to be, too: different goals, audiences, audience behaviours, locations and other factors for one thing. What works for one person won't necessarily work for you (so if you've been comparing yourself, stop! 😆 It's a waste of energy!).
Of course, there are best practices that are worth considering, but then you've got to approach it in a way that's best for you, your brand and your audience.
