Parking charges for our patients, visitors and staff will increase on Tuesday, 1 July.

While this decision has not been taken lightly and we understand the frustration it may cause, parking charges for our patients and visitors have not increased for seven years.

Pay on foot parking charges will increase by a flat rate of 20p an hour.

• First 20 minutes free (calculated from the time you enter the hospital site)
• 1 hour: £2.50 (from £2.30)
• 2 hours: £3.50 (from £3.30)
• 3 hours: £4.50 (from £4.30)
• 4 hours: £5.50 (from £5.30)
• 5 hours: £6.50 (from £6.30)
• 6 hours: £7.50 (from £7.30)
• 7 hours: £8.50 (from £8.30)
• 8 hours: £9.50 (from £9.30)
• 9 hours: £10.50 (from £10.30)
• 10 hours: £11.50 (from £11.30)
• Maximum daily charge for a stay of up to 24 hours: £12 (from £10)
• Week pass: £16 (from £12)

Parking in our pay and display car parks will also be brought in line with our pay on foot car parks, meaning parking charges are the same across our sites.

Free parking arrangements remain in place for Blue Badge holders, parents/guardians of children admitted overnight, and eligible patients who need to attend regularly, for example for dialysis and cancer treatment. Please speak to staff on the reception of the area you are visiting if you think you may be eligible.
