Supporting local growers and communities has become all the more important in the recent years. To ensure a strong and sustainable local economy foundation we need to buy locally. As part of their Autumn campaign, Produced in Kent have very kindly sent me a Macknade hamper filled with the very best produce from Kent and beyond, as a little reminder that where we shop truly matters!

Lunch at the charming BOYS HALL 🍃 The restaurant is set in a beautifully restored 17th-century manor (with hotel rooms to open in December), with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking their picturesque gardens.

The surroundings are chic and airy, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Robbie Lorraine is the head chef at Boys Hall, and his menu (using fresh, local and seasonal produce) is the perfect way to spend a decadent afternoon or dinner.

Highlights of our lunch: the lobster doughnuts (a must try), the wild mushrooms, thyme and Ragstone goat’s cheese and the pan-roasted fillet of wild sea bass. Chef’s kiss.

Thank you Boys Hall for the warm welcome, we can’t wait to come back!

This crisp and blustery Sunday afternoon calls for my new MONSOON cable knit cardigan (linked on Stories). It’s an elegant and versatile piece, a timeless addition to my Autumn wardrobe 🍂

I may or may not be wearing it again this evening, curled up on the sofa, with a glass of vino in my hands. How are you spending your Sunday?

Our first walk together as a family of four - the boys were busy picking up chestnuts, and were not keen on taking photos together.

I have taken some time off social media and spend it with my little family, but I am so looking forward to creating new content and share some exciting projects with you soon. I hope you’re all well!

There’s so much to do before you give birth. It seems like there are a million and one things to do the week before the baby arrives.
And if you’re anything like me, you’re probably going to wake up a few days before your due date and decide that the walls in your living room absolutely need a fresh coat of paint. So you roll up your sleeves, and start painting! If I haven’t replied to your message or email, now you know why.

There are (still) clothes to wash, iron and fold, I packed and repacked my hospital bag a hundred times but I promised that tomorrow I will take time to do a few things for myself.

With a newborn and a toddler running around, I want to make things as easier as possible for me, so I set up a baby-friendly corner with all the essentials (Kit & Kin nappies and baby wipes, Little Butterfly London nappy cream and baby oil, muslin cloths and bibs) on each floor (we live in a two floor house) to avoid going up and down the stairs.

Do you have any tips for making those first few days with a newborn a little easier?

I can’t believe my ‘baby’ is going to be a big brother soon!

We captured these sweet photos during my baby shower last weekend and couldn’t wait to share them with you. 2021 has undoubtedly been a challenging year for us all, and I feel so grateful that I got to spend some quality time (not enough though) with my sisters and friends before the baby’s arrival.

Noah wore the cutest outfit from our dear friends at Childrensalon and I got to wear this beauty of a dress (maternity and breastfeeding-friendly) by Bump&Milk, which I rented from For The Creators.

I can’t quite believe how quickly this pregnancy flew by, not long until we get to meet our sweet little girl!

I haven’t done much shopping for the baby yet, but I have come across some wonderful small brands that I’d like to share with you.

Early Days is a family run business, founded in 1952. Their shoes have been worn by the likes of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. We were already such big fans of the brand, most of Noah’s baby shoes were made by them.

The Bamboo Baby is a wonderful small business, focusing on creating highly sustainable and organic baby wear. They only produce in very small batches, and most of their pieces are unisex.

Stefi Bows is another family-run business, who make bespoke baby bonnets and the cutest hair accessories.

Any other small brands that you love and you’d like to recommend?

Since I first heard about air fryers (my sister can’t stop talking about hers), I have frequently wondered if I should get one for our growing family.

Like many, I’m a fan of fried food (courgette fritters are my favourite), and I’m always looking for useful kitchen appliances to make cooking easier and faster.

After testing the new Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6-in-1 air fryer for two weeks, I can definitely say it’s a worthwhile purchase. You can cook most food without any oil (though chips sometimes need a tbsp to ensure they crisp up) in 15 minutes or less.

If versatility is what you’re after, you’ll be pleased to know that the new Vortex Plus offers baking, roasting, grilling, dehydrating, and reheating functions too. I personally like the clever dial control that allows me to adjust the temperature and the cooking time and the large capacity (fits up to 1kg of fries or 1.8kg chicken).

If you’d like to see how I cooked this deliciously healthy salmon with asparagus and butter & lemon sauce, head to my Stories now.

The weekend!

My outfit of choice for al-fresco mocktails this evening - slightly obsessed with this linen blouse by MONSOON (linked here: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fhd3cmween). I think you’ll see a lot of it this Summer, so apologies in advance.

Good morning, my son(shine) and happy Earth Day everyone!

Did you know that bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world and only uses a third of the water than what cotton requires?

We recently transitioned our little one from a cot to a toddler bed, so we had to replace his bedding, pillow and duvet as well. And we opted for Panda, not only because their products are highly sustainable and great for the environment. They’re really good quality (the 100% bamboo duvet is incredibly soft and feels so luxurious), antibacterial and hypoallergenic - perfect for Noah’s eczema-prone skin. One happy parent over here!

- Paid partnership with Atelier Rosemood
Taking a trip down memory lane recalling our precious early days as a family of three, Noah’s first little smile and steps, our first family trip abroad. Fond memories that we’ll cherish and relive forever just by flipping through the pages of our Rosemood personalised photo book.

Photo books are perfect for remembering the first year of your baby’s life, cherishing your most favourite family holiday pictures or commemorating a wedding. If you don’t have one, Easter might be a good excuse to treat yourself or a family member that you haven’t seen in a while to a truly meaningful gift.
And while we won’t be able to celebrate Easter with our mums this year, we’ll send them a photo book each. We’ll surely put a smile on their face!
