Clock Barn Wedding
Back in June 2004 I DJ’d my first wedding at the Clock Barn and 20 years later I am back in what may prove to be my last one? Who know what the future holds but after some fantastic events, having lots of fun memories and meeting so many wonderful people over the past two decades tonight is my only one at the venue this year and with no future bookings at the Clock Barn it could be my finale. Never say never but I’m looking forward to a warm Wednesday evening wedding for Dan and Hannah.

Emily and Mike’s Aussie Wedding
So I’ve been in Australia taking a break and seeing my two beautiful daughters one of who was getting married.
Emily had moved to the Land Down Under just over two years ago with Mike Cutts, it took courage and confidence to move to a country far away from her family and both Deb and myself are so proud of what she has achieved so far in her life.
Her younger sister Amy joined her in February but still might move back to the UK and was a bridesmaid for her sister at the beautiful Summergrove wedding Estate in NSW.
For me as the Father of the Bride it was an emotional day, when Em walked out prior to the wedding I shed a tear and as I walked her down the Aisle I was a very proud dad.
Tears were shed as Mike and Emily said their vows and as afternoon moved to evening it was time for my Father speech. It’s strange really, as a DJ and Wedding Host, I have heard hundreds of father of the bride speeches but nothing really prepares you for your own daughter’s wedding.
I did break down a couple of times as I read my speech but held it together enough to get through it.
Emily has instructed me not to post any photos yet but has given me approval to post a taster video for you.
It really was a brilliant wedding day at an awesome venue with some incredible views.
The Australian adventure has a week left, this country is bloody amazing and I will really miss the girls and the way of life here.

Pre lock down I used to run a Retro Disco call Revival Roadshow, unfortunately as we came through it I felt I wasn’t able to continue to carry on lifting heavy lightboxes and speakers so sold everything apart from my Decks which were special to me. I even DJ’d a couple of weddings on them.
After firing them up today, I am now going to think about offering vinyl discos as an extra for those who maybe want a vinyl vibe to their event.
I don’t have the light show I once had but the vinyl sound is well and truly available.

Fun Wedding
Back in September 2023 I was asked to provide my entertainment service for a good friend Steve Baulsom’s marriage to the lovely Kirsty at the Esseborne Manor Hotel, it turned out to be be the penultimate wedding at the venue too.
It was an amazing day full of fun, laughter and lots of dancing.
