Hi. Just a reminder that there will be no show next week but planning is well underway for Canets first anniversary in June (and also the show in October is shaping up nicely too) which will be in the style of the school disco's I remember going to. Also because it is the first anniversary of course there would be a lookback over the last year and we have covered quite a lot! I had forgot about some things we had done! There is still a lot to cover though and I am still looking for more amazing victims I mean guests to have this year: [email protected]

Yes I know this show is not until June but I want to plan as much as I can before I go away. If you think this is too early to plan then I wont tell you about a show I am planning for October! which I am beyond excited to do!!

More info soon. (yes, when I plan it!!) We will be having a party and you don't even need to dress up for it! You can if you want to though! This will be on the 3rd of June.

Plans for show number 11 on Tuesday 1st April
My journey with Lionheart Radio is a long one. Long story short I started in 2008 doing work exprience and stayed there for 5 and a half years, had a short break of about 12 years and then came back in June last year with Canet. In all of that time at Lionheart I have never shared new music before so I am very excited to do that for the very first time on this show! This will be just after 3:15pm
And of course seeing as it is April Fools Day I thought I would throw some Theatre related puns in the mix for you.

Plans for show 10 on Tuesday 4th March
Canet's first double digit show! I never thought we would get here. Thank you for your help in making this happen. I am very grateful and I really appreiciate you being here. Show number 10 seems to be a great time to tell you the origins of CANET. It wasn't going to be a culture and theatre show I can tell you that. This happened by accident and what a happy accident it was too. I can also tell you that the original show was supposed to happen 5 years ago but a certain year stopped it! Looking back now maybe it was a good thing becuase if I had of done it Canet might not have happened.
The cultural person this time is also related to what the original show was going to be about and it is someone that you might not have heard of but he is from Newcastle. I also need to tell you about a piece of artwork that you need to hear about and see if you can. I haven't seen it myself but the things I have been told about it is making me so excited to see it when it comes to The North East in a couple of weeks.

Plans for show 9 on 4th February
I will be telling you part 2 of my theatre experience from outside of school this time. The ones I went to willingly and actually enjoyed. Also my cultural person this time is someone well known in these parts and if you live in or around the Alnwick area you will know of him as he seems to get everywhere in this town.
Also just after 4:15pm I will be chatting to my first guest of 2025! Local author Hilary Elder will be chatting to me about her work as a writer, her new upcomming book that's coming out this year and her new online writing course, Crafting Lines. Plan for show 8 on 7th January - the first CANET show of 2025!
I keep saying that I am not a theatre person and for the most part that is true. I have had a lot of experience seeing theatre, mainly while at school, which I had forgot about due to one bad experience. I am going to face up to that now though. 20 years later but better late than never right? I also thought it was THAT man's fault but while he didn't help matters it wasn't actually him.
