Nice straightforward job for a Friday. Block of 52 flats with a communal system that stopped working. Fault found part replaced and all working again.

We will be away from 14th September to 1st October, we do not want to disappoint anyone, therefore if you know of any jobs you wish to book, we have 2 weeks left before we go. We are taking bookings for when we return also.

Been out to a property today to sort the aerial out. On arrival in the service cupboard came across 46 cables. 1 feed from the aerial then 45 for the different aerial points in the property. Ended up using more than 1 splitter but got them all connected and working.

Customer needed good wifi in their garden for their robotic lawnmower to work so we have been out and installed and outdoor cpe to give good wifi coverage throughout the garden.

Customer had just had a new extension built on property, satellite dish was originally where extension is now so had to be relocated. We managed to tuck it away down side of extension so barely visible from front of house and garden.

Bit of a different property to normal, we have been out this morning and installed an aerial in time for the tipi at the tempus to show the euros starting tonight on their 75" TV.

Pat testing of a hotel, bar and restaurant
10 holiday cottages Pat tested
4g antenna and router installed to a caravan at beadnell to give customers broadband Internet.
Another tv wall mounted at the back beach club ready for euros starting next week.
A new projector installed at the tavern at amble ready for the euros and need to go back next week to fit another projector.
A mdu in Blyth with over 30 flats were having satellite issues on the communal system. Found fault and replaced faulty part.
3x new lashing kits and aerials installed after chimney work been completed on properties.
2x new satellite dishes and lnb
Resolved a customers wifi issues in their house
2x tv wall mounted and cables hidden in cavity wall
As well as several other general aerial issues resolved for customers.

We have completed a couple wifi jobs recently first one was a straightforward run a cat6 cable from router to an access point in adjoining property. This 1 was a bit more complexed, customer had 3 caravans needing wifi from property up the lane, we managed to use a wireless access point to get signal down to 1st caravan and installed a cpe used as a repeater on each of the other caravans. Now all have got a good wifi signal.

Always nice when you get a job where no ladders needed. Customers old aerial stopped working so needed replaced. Although aerial was high up the balcony helped with easy access to roof to walk up drop the mast replace aerial and reinstate mast. Got a bit of a view of the estuary whilst on the roof whilst up there.

Bit of an interesting job this afternoon, lionheart radio needed a longer mast on the chimney. Ladders not long enough to reach the roof and mast too long to go up the stairs. We were not going to be beat though Peter Lewis threw a rope down from the roof, Guy climbed the ladders and attached rope to mast for Peter to pull up onto the roof. Then together we have attached new mast to the chimney.
Got a decent view of Alnwick from up on the roof as a added bonus.

A customer asked us to replace their existing satellite dish as after over 23 years, their existing dish had stopped working. They had 1st had a national company, but they were unable to access dish due to a mixture of their ladders being not long enough and their h&s guidelines. There was a job unfortunately we couldn't do the other week but good to get back to being our normal and solving issues others can't and replaced satellite dish and customer now able to view live TV.

55" TV wall mounted this morning, solid wall so had to put cables in trunking, power lead coming from the right hand of TV and aerial cable coming from left hand side of TV, then both up the centre.

2 wall mounts completed this afternoon with all cables hidden. 2nd TV also had a Nintendo switch wall mounted below TV with the power lead and hdmi hidden behind tje plasterboard. These were in a communal area for a group of holiday homes.

Nice to have a day of decent weather today. A new lashing kit and 6ft pole installed on a chimney for a communal system where satellite, dab aerial and terrestrial aerial feed a group of apartments. New quattro lnb fitted as well and dish realigned as recent storms have caused a few issues to the system.

Was asked if I could fit an aerial that was more discreet than a normal aerial. After some searching through suppliers came across a 360 degrees aerial with built in amplifier. Due to being in an area with strong signal this aerial was picking up a good signal and think it looks OK on the wall.

People often say to us, I bet you work in all sorts of properties. Well the other day 1 minute we were installing an aerial to a dome currently under construction near Snitter which will soon be able to rent. Then half an hour later we were on a roof of a castle fixing signal issues on the aerial system. 2 equally unique and beautiful properties but so different. 1 of the things we love no 2 jobs the same in our line of work.
