In 2018, 2 local Falkirk lads set out with our hard earned cash and a dream to bring a music festival back to Callendar Park. In May 2019 that dream became a reality and Vibration Festival was launched.

Covid then impacted our chances to return in 2020, but we were fortunate enough to be one of the very few events to run in 2021. We then returned in 2022 with another amazing weekend.

We poured our heart and soul into running those 3 events and have been lucky enough to be supported by you, our customers through what is probably the worst time in history for the event industry. With the costs of running events like this continuing to rise at an alarming rate, and the costs of living hitting all our pockets hard daily we appreciate hugely everyone who has bought into our dream of bringing music to the park.

After substantial loses that we personally covered last year, we spent many, many hours reviewing our budget and the model of the 2023 event. We felt we had a great chance of delivering a brilliant weekend in Sept with a ticket price that was beating most other events out there. As time went on however, the glaring reality is that infrastructure and staff costs continue to rise and without an additional 30/40% of ticket holders in the park the event would likely loose our small local business a substantial amount of our money again. This is obviously not something we can afford to do.

To give ourselves time to reset the event and right size a delivery model that works for the target numbers we are requiring to postpone and roll the event forward.

These events require people to buy in early or else we are left with insurmountable costs to cover pre-event. As the years have gone on people are buying tickets later and later, therefore without years of profitable trade it leaves us costs that are very hard to cover upfront.

At this point we have 2 options for all our ticket holders who purchaesed directly from our website:

Opt 1: The team at Party at the Palace along the road in Linlithgow have come to our aid and offered a free ticket swap - swapping your day ticket or weekend ticket at Vibration Festival for the more expensive Party at the Palace day or weekend equivalent ticket (No VIP upgrade unfortunately) - no additional cost to you

Opt 2: Roll your ticket to 2024 (do nothing) and support a local business in bringing the event to life next summer (30/31 August 2024)

(Edit) - Option 1 is only available if tickets were bought directly from Vibration Festivcal website. If either of the 2 options above are of no interest refunds will be dealt in line with our refund policy. Please contact ourselves or if purchased via a third party, the ticket seller directly for a refund.

Many thanks for your continued support of 2 local lads with a big dream.

We will return, and music will again fill the park!

The annual end of year AGP Xmas Gig featuring some of the best bands in Scotland and hosted by Vic Galloway (Radio Scotland)

03/08/2023

It is with a mix of emotions that we announce the closure of Pleasure Heads. This band has been a part of our lives since we were 16/17 and we have experienced remarkable highs, as well as challenging lows - but after much contemplation, we believe the time has arrived for the band to gracefully bow out.

When we first began, we never thought we’d have the chance to record music, gain actual fans, sell merch, play festivals, let alone play a gig outside of Falkirk, so for all of this we are eternally grateful.

We leave you with this EP. Our parting gift… Goodbye.
