Town councillors across wards pool resources.

I have received complaints from Abertillery residents who walk their dogs the length of Alma st about the speed of vehicles either side of the school traffic calming zones.
The northern side is in Cwmtillery the southern end in Abertillery.
The clerk of ALCC has been notified and it will be discussed at a full council meeting.

Hi Everyone:- The Welsh Government Well Being for Future Generation Act2015 has now passed through Government, Blaenau Gwent Borough County Council(BGBCC) has publishing their well being policy, to conform with the new law. This has now filtered down to the Community & Town Councils (C&TC) in BGBCC. Abertillery & Llanhilleth Community Council (ALCC) in our case.

ALCC have set up a Well Being Working Group (WBWG) to develop what you want for future well being of our community.
I have accepted the chair of this working group. Neither I nor my committee will implement anything which doesn’t come from the people of ALCC.

To ensure this, the WBWG will be driving our vision through the ward structure in the community, Aberbeeg, Abertillery, Cwmtillery, Llanhilleth & Six Bells.

As Abertillery ward councillors (Tracey, Ross, Rob, Nick, & Trudy.) we have set up a Facebook group to allow the WBWG to get your views. The other ward councillors will be developing their own methods of getting feedback to the WBWG
If you wish to have your input into the ground breaking policy in Wales please check out :- https://www.facebook.com/wardcouncillorsAbertillery/
And join the group.

This group will not replace Nick Simmons for Abertillery, or the other ward councillor’s pages; it is more for ward activities, e.g. The Well Being Future of our community

Join the group now and be part of our future generations well being. At the moment, the group has very little on it, as we will develop the group as we go along with your ideas.
