That’s me done for this year, no time for another round as I’m abroad next month. Half a dozen youngsters weaned and in the flight. A very challenging season for many reasons but on the positive side, I now have a new house, a new bird room and a few on the sticks, so I can’t complain at that 🤷‍♂️🙂

Well it’s a bit of a mini celebration for me today. As some of you will know, I’d completely written off my season this year due to a house move and several other events. On the plus side, moving house allowed me the opportunity to have a good clear out and start afresh with a new more manageable setup, so it hasn’t been all bad. But the icing on the cake, was being able to ring my first six chicks this morning so I’m super chuffed that I’ve been able to breed a few after all! 😊

A big thank you to Nelson Rato for the breeding register! It’s going to be a challenging season, with a house move bang in the middle of it! 🤦🏼‍♂️ Bad timing, but it is what it is. I’ll be happy if I manage to squeeze in a round before the season ends, but I’ll just have to see how it goes. Best of luck to the rest of you, I hope you all have a successful season 💪
