Woodside Free Press

The Woodside Free Press is a community magazine put together by people who live, work and volunteer in the local community. The magazine is supported by Station House Media Unit (shmu), a community media charity based in Aberdeen.

Our aim is to connect people to their area and help them find out what’s happening in the Woodside community. Within the pages of this magazine you will find news, views, reviews and features plus lots of information for people in the community, both young and old.

You don’t need to be a hot shot journalist, a computer whizz or know anything about graphic design (but if you do then that’s great!) - staff at shmu are on hand to assist with pulling content together, design and distribution of the publication.

The Woodside Free Press is delivered through every door in the area free of charge and is also distributed around the wider community in public locations. If you live a bit further afield you can read the latest edition online at www.shmu.org.uk/press.
