Vocal tracking for the gangs latest production 'Home' was done in studio a few weeks ago. We're currently building the rest of the track up and hope to have it released early in 2025.

Some exciting projects on the horizon for the new year, details to follow in due course 💪🏽

Another musical journey completed. 👌🏽

Well done Sandy Mellis and Kalpa Tan for putting this song together 👏 composing lyrics and shaping phrasing to suit your melody. Choosing chords progressions and then laying down some characteristic vocals during our tracking sessions. Great times with many laughs along the way 🥰

Big shout out to Peter Third for being our studio multi-Instrumentalist on this Single. These projects couldn't happen without the support of local musicians!!

Our second 10 week Creative Workshop at Inchgarth Community Centre wrapped up a couple of months ago with a release date for the gangs latest production 'Out of the Blue' by The Blaeberries being just around the corner.

We had Kay on Keys & Vocals, Sandy on Vocals, Sasha on Guitar and Ed on Drums / percussion. big shout out to Tom Burt & Japo for their session musicianship and just being good guys.❤️

A wee snap of our current Tuesday evening Creative Workshop at Inchgarth Community Center, thanks to Natalie Hood📸❤️
The teams composition 'Home' is coming along nicely. We'll be hitting the studio very soon for our tracking sessions before the mixing and mastering process kicks off. Our workshops run for 10 weeks(ish). This gives the team time to compose a song from the ground up, compile lyrics, create a melody and play with structure and dynamics before recording and ultimately releasing their Single on all streaming platforms via our Record Label - Frequency Lab Records (F-L-R).
We have a great mixture of individuals attending each workshop with varying musical ability and personalities but plenty ideas and an abundance of enthusiasm. F-L-R is a community service first and foremost bringing people together to be creative, build lasting relationships, confidence but most importantly we have great fun throughout the song production process and learn as we go.

We'll be posting some historic pics and vids from our previous 2 workshops along with sharing the singles the guys have released over the coming days, and hopefully creating a Face Book space for sharing positivity and some frequency therapy hints and tips to calm our overworked minds and raise our vibration together.

Hey Folks, welcome to Frequency Lab Records (F-L-R) we're a local Aberdeen and Shire Creative Practioner provider. Working with individuals and groups within our communities guiding them through the song writing / composition process from the ground up, then studio recording their creation prior to releasing it on all streaming platforms. our workshops are attended by all walks of life with varying or no musical ability. But we all have a song in us it just sometimes requires some support and guidance to allow our creative side to flourish. Thanks to the team at Inchgarth Community Center 'we've been conducting several Tuesday night workshops with amazing outcomes. (which will be shared on this our new FB Page) we're also fortunate enough to have a network of session musicians who are more than willing to get involved in our studio sessions.

our aim is to bring people together through music, create new skills build confidence and most importantly have fun along the way.

We realised very quickly how beneficial our services have been for everyone who attends, by bringing individuals together and building relationships on a creative level. Raising our state of mental health via music and positive frequencies in a safe and supportive environment.

Here at F-L-R we are inspired and motivated to bring as many people together and create music across the city and shire by engaging kids in schools and folks in the greater community or anyone else who thinks they could benefit from a wee musical journey. We're currently seeking funding to allow this to physically happen on a larger scale to reach more souls. (watch this space)
